Just 20 Random Things People Discovered That Defy Explanation

Sometimes, you may come across something that you can't really explain. But that doesn't mean you can't laugh at it, or stare at it in wonder, or just enjoy it plain and simple.

Those are the exact kinds of things posted in this list. People out there really do find the most bizarre things ever, and thankfully, they're always happy to share.

This furniture store's donut wall.

I'm not sure if that donut wall is purely decorative, or if people are actually allowed to take donuts and eat them. Because honestly, if I happened to be at this store and saw a donut wall, I'd be pretty tempted. So much for self control.

This Domino's Pizza delivery monster truck.

I've never actually known this, but are pizza delivery drivers supposed to have their own cars? Do these places have cars they lend out to the drivers?

Either way, that isn't going to explain this monster truck. It's one unique delivery vehicle, that's for sure.

"Baby snail can stick to the surface of water without breaking the surface tension."

Do I understand how this works? Absolutely not. Am I still impressed and fascinated by it? Yes indeed. Like, who would've thought that a snail could just sit underneath the surface of water like that? Nature is full of the strangest things.

"This pair of shoes abandoned neatly on the curb of a Costco parking lot. 1 tied, 1 untied."

The weirdest thing about these shoes is that they're actually kind of nice. They don't look worn down, so they're probably pretty new (or they didn't get worn that often). So, why would someone just leave them sitting on a curb?

This flower with two flowers growing out of it.

I don't think I'll ever understand flowers. They seem to just do whatever they want, even if it doesn't make a lot of sense to our eyes.

This flower has not one, but two identical flowers growing out of it. Why? Because it felt like it, I guess.

This lime that's been peeled like an orange.

I'm not going to ask why this person peeled this lime, but here it is. It looks a lot like a small orange or a clementine or something, but that slight green tint sort of gives it away.

I guess we've been cutting limes wrong?

This flag that's missing a few stripes.

Based on how faded all the colors are, this flag has been hanging up for a long time. But it's so weird how the white stripes have worn right off, while the red stripes still have some life left to them. How does that even happen?

Wait, where did this scorpion come from?

As if I don't have enough to worry about, now there are ceiling scorpions? Even if they are arachnids, who knew they could actually climb up ceilings? They seemed like the kinds of animals that just scramble around the desert, which is where they should stay.

"Mist covered cobwebs on a hedge."

The problem here isn't the fact that the spider webs are covered in mist and look a lot more visible than they usually do. It's the fact that there are so many webs to begin with. I almost feel like bugs are just going to avoid that hedge.

"This glass had a perfect break when I went to rinse it."

Yeah... I wouldn't continue to drink out of that glass. Even if it made a super cool, super clean break, that broken glass is still going to be super sharp. Sadly, this person is still going to have to get rid of it.

These helium balloons stuck in a garbage chute.

Aside from looking a little sinister, this is just weird. Why would someone stick helium balloons in a trash chute without popping them first? It's not like a bit of helium in the air is harmful, if that's what the person is worried about. Instead, they've probably blocked the chute.

"They turned a small theater in my town into an Ace Hardware. We've got Chlorine premiering tonight."

Well, that's one way to reuse an old marquee. Though, they probably would've been better off just getting rid of it altogether, or using it to advertise the store better. But I guess it'll be helpful for anyone looking for chlorine?

This Japanese 7-Eleven's monochromatic color scheme.

This is just weird. That red, orange, and green color scheme we're so used to seeing? There isn't even a trace of it here. I wonder if all the 7-Elevens in Japan look like this, or if this one's just special for some reason.

The way this corn cob formed.

Something must've happened to keep this cob of corn from forming properly. Instead of looking more or less normal, it has a sort of bonus mini cob on the top. I mean, at least it's more corn someone can eat? Or just throw away, no harm done.

"A shop in New York does a holiday pics with Krampus instead of Santa."

This would actually be a really cool idea. But, like, for adults and older kids. Maybe not for little kids (even though this toddler looks pretty excited to be sitting with Krampus).

I could see myself taking a picture with a mall Krampus, that's for sure.

If this puzzle is complete, then where does that extra pieces go?

I just don't see why a puzzle would need a bonus piece. It's not like it'd be a replacement, since that wouldn't make sense; they might as well give you two of every piece. So it's just there, collecting dust I guess.

"Boot that washed up on shore from the North Sea."

The easy explanation is that someone lost a boot while at sea, and barnacles came and claimed it as their home. Even though that's a pretty weird concept. How do barnacles end up finding these random things and populating them?

Looks like it's that time of year once again.

If you haven't seen the giant skeleton that Home Depots have been having up for display yet, you probably will soon. And I'm kind of obsessed with them, even though they cost a couple hundred dollars.

Looks like a lot of people are obsessed with them, too.

Take a Shrek, leave a Shrek.

If you love Shrek, you'll love this. If you don't like Shrek, you might just want to keep scrolling. This is a Shrek Box, after all. It's for all things Shrek related.

I seriously wish we knew who made this one. I'd like to thank them personally.

This tree that's growing out of this building for some reason.

It's so hard to tell if this tree is growing out of this building, or if it's growing through the building. Either way, it's pretty neat. Trees are just amazing, even if some of the things they do make no sense.
