Stranger Things season four has been an absolute smash hit, bringing back viewers who were excited for more stories from the crew they fell in love with back in 2016 when the show first aired.
This season introduced a new character, Eddie Munson, who fans immediately adored . Both he and his actor, Joseph Quinn, gained quite the fanbase. When someone told him how much he and Eddie were loved during a convention, Quinn got a little teary-eyed over it.

Playing the extremely loveable Eddie Munson, his character has stolen the hearts of viewers across the world since the show’s fourth season was released. Eddie quickly became a fan favorite, and so has Quinn in turn.
In fact, a fan recently told him how much Eddie meant to them.
And he got pretty emotional in response.
An Instagram video that’s now gone viral shows a moment from a Q&A panel at the London Film and Comic Con.
There had been a lot of talk about LFCC treating Quinn very poorly.
Tweets recount how he was yelled at by staff for talking to fans too much during his meet-and-greet session, with one Twitter user saying LFCC staff “fully yelled at him to shut the [expletive] up and just sign and not interact with fans [because] they oversold […].”
So, during his Q&A, a fan spoke up about this.
They first said they didn’t have a question, but rather an “extension of gratitude.”
“I’m sure lots of us heard what happened yesterday, whether it’s true or not, about how you were treated […] I just wanted to say thank you from all of us, we’re really grateful that you’re sharing the time and keep signing things and spending time with us, for making our summer.”
Quinn began visibly tearing up as they spoke.
“I think that we’ve all really connected with Eddie for one reason or another,” they continued, “Whether we like his taste in music, or that he’s the outsider. I think all of us are a part of Eddie. We’ve traveled far because we really connected with you as well and you made our weekend.”
The fan’s speech was met with applause from the crowd, who clearly agreed.
“Why’d you do that?” Quinn asked with a laugh while wiping away tears.
“That’s very kind of you. Thank you for your kind words,” he responded once he got his emotions in check, clearly not wanting to get too worked up in the middle of his panel.
Fans across social media are enamored by this vulnerable moment.
“Oh my heart!! What a truly genuine human. Don’t ever change Joseph,” wrote one comment on the video.
“He was an absolute gem yesterday despite his hectic work load! And we’d book to see him again within a heartbeat,” said another.
Despite the rocky convention experience, fans are still so willing to stick up for Quinn, and clearly love him with all their hearts!
