When it comes to Hollywood celebs, they never fail to let us down in the drama department.
There’s always something juicy for us to dissect and obsess about. This includes scandals from the ’00s that we may have forgotten about.

Get out that popcorn! It’s time to revisit the ghosts of Hollywood’s scandal past.
1) Justin Timberlake and Janet Jackson’s infamous wardrobe malfunction.
It was the #nipplegate seen all over the world when Justin Timberlake accidentally exposed Janet Jackson’s bare breast .
People were outraged since the incident happened live and couldn’t be censored.
While both the singers and the network were extremely apologetic, the damage was done.
While Timberlake has since returned to the Super Bowl to headline in 2018, it’s unlikely that Jackson would ever make it back.
2) Paris Hilton trades in the Hilton for a stay in the clink.
We imagine it wasn’t quite “the simple life” when hotel heiress, Paris Hilton, spent a few weeks in jail in 2007.
She was there because she had violated probation of her DUI by driving with her suspended license.
3) Winona Ryder gets arrested for shoplifting.
While we may mainly forget about the scandalous shoplifting incident, we’re reminded of it just a little bit whenever we see the actress’s face on Stranger Things .
She made headlines for stealing $5,560 of stuff from Saks Fifth Avenue in Beverly Hills.
Isn’t she rich, though??
In the end, she was convicted of grand theft and vandalism.
4) Isaiah Washington gets fired from “Grey’s Anatomy” for making an anti-gay slur about a co-worker.
In 2006, the drama from Grey’s Anatomy went from on-screen drama to real life.
According to reports , when a fight broke out between Washington and Patrick Dempsey, Washington used a gay slur when referring to gay co-star, T.R. Knight.
Shonda Rhimes, the creator of the show, fired him.
She doesn’t have time or patience for stuff like this.
5) Washington got in hot water AGAIN.
To make the whole thing worse, he even said the anti-gay slur again backstage at the golden globes.
Since then, he’s been working hard to make amends and rebuilt his acting career.
6) Britney Spears’ infamous meltdown.
At this point, 2007 is basically remembered as the year that Britney Spears had her infamous breakdown.
The singer later admitted that the unfortunate incident was brought by severe anxiety and the unrelenting paparazzi following her every move.
Because of it, she shaved her own head and later attacked a paparazzi’s car with an umbrella.
It was later revealed that she had also been abusing alcohol and drugs for some time leading up to the meltdown.
7) Brad Pitt left Jennifer Aniston for Angelina Jolie.
Our hearts still break for Jennifer over all of this.
Many believed that Angelia was to blame for the split of the once-happy couple who were married for five years.
Can’t stop love, we guess.
Jolie later admitted that she and Pitt fell in love while filming Mr. & Mrs. Smith .
Things eventually ended for the pair as they got divorced in 2016 after two years of marriage.
8) Jon and Kate Gosselin file for a messy divorce.
Before shows like 90 Day Fiancé had us glued to our TV screens, millions of people tuned in each week to watch Jon and Kate Plus 8 .
It followed the parents’ mayhem of trying to raise their eight children.
Before the show ended due to poor ratings, the married couple announced that they were getting divorced in 2009 .
Soon after, a lot of secrets came out, including infidelity on Jon’s part.
Years later, mama Kate is back with her new TLC show Kate Plus Date where she’s basically the Bachelorette trying to find love.
9) “American Idol” hits a controversial note.
This popular talent show has managed to thrust several singers into stardom, including Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood.
Unfortunately, though, it hasn’t been without some drama and controversy during its long run.
‘Idol’ judge, Paula Abdul, came under fire for reports that she was allegedly sleeping with male contestants.
One of the contestants, Corey Clark, even ended up suing Fox over the whole ordeal.
While Paula denied the affair, she did make headlines when she left the show the following year.

10) Martha Stewart was sentenced to jail for insider trading.
She may be basically the Oprah of the crafts and cooking world, but even Martha isn’t untouchable by the law.
Stewart proved that she has a rebel side when her involvement with insider trading landed her in federal prison for five months.
Since then, she’s rebuilt her career.
“I just want to focus on my salad,” she once famously said .
