Vegan Activist Pours Red Paint At KFC But Doesn't Realize They're 'Hurting' The Workers There

The right to peaceful protest is vital to the success of any true democracy. But sometimes, people can take things too far. They become so entrenched in their movement that they forget the human cost of their actions.

This is precisely what happened when a militant vegan activist walked into her local KFC. She proceeded to pour red paint all over the restaurant, totally disregarding the fact that minimum wage workers were the ones she was really hurting.

The video begins as a young woman makes her way through the doors of a local KFC restaurant.

Once inside, she begins playing a soundtrack of animals being slaughtered for all the patrons to hear. Shortly after that, the woman begins pouring "blood" (don't worry, it's only paint) all over the floor.

She's joined by several other animal rights activists holding signs that say "Don't watch this."

There's also a young girl holding a flat-screen TV displaying footage of animals being slaughtered.

The orchestrator of the "protest" is an animal rights activist named Tash Peterson. Her Instagram bio reads "If you're not vegan, you're an animal abuser. End the ANIMAL HOLOCAUST."

Her video has received nearly 300K views on TikTok.

It's left many people questioning the effectiveness of her methods and made others consider the human toll of her actions. "All they're hurting are the minimum wage workers that have to clean it up," Reddit user EpicestGamer101 commented.

Another Redditor who works in a supermarket claims that Tash regularly comes into their store.

Apparently, she has been known to play the audio of screaming pigs while people are shopping in the meat section. However, Ellyahh is pretty sure that she does it for attention.

What are your thoughts? Is this taking peaceful protest too far?
