While white is the color most people go for, these celebs donned something less traditional but just as stunning!

Is Shenae dressing for her wedding or a funeral? All jokes aside, it’s refreshing to see someone who’s clearly uninhibited when it comes to defying expectations.
Black is not necessarily the color scheme I would have opted for, but to each their own.

I’m in love with Mandy Moore’s dress. It’s stylish and chic while still remaining timeless and elegant.
A delicate balancing act, indeed. It almost looks as if the pop star has wrapped herself up in a fluffy pink cloud.
Bar Refaeli.
Bar Refaeli cares little for outdated customs. The supermodel exudes natural beauty and her dress only further accentuates her glow.
That being said, Bar could walk down the aisle in a paper bag and probably still be just as beautiful.
Malin Akerman.
Actress Malin Akerman decided to forego the traditional route entirely when it came to her wedding dress. Not only did she not wear white, but Malin’s dress is incredibly subdued.
Her humble pink number is classy without calling attention to itself.

It would appear that pink is the new white and I couldn’t be happier. White is so sterile, while pink is just so much more…expressive!
As if it were possible, Portia looks even more beautiful than normal in her pale pink gown.

Jenna Dewan is a double-edged sword. Not only is she an insanely talented dancer, but she also happens to be drop-dead gorgeous.
Her decision to wear a non-traditional, off-pink gown on her big day just speaks to her confidence.

OK, I’m not going to lie and say that I’m in love with Anne’s veil, but that dress is magnificent.
Anne’s always been one to shatter preconceptions and she’s done it yet again with this unforgettable wedding dress.

Speaking of going all out, Dita Von Teese really takes the (wedding) cake. But I suppose when you marry a guy like Marilyn Manson, pageantry is all a part of the package.
I’m not exactly sure how I feel about the dress, but it is definitely unique!

I kind of forgot all about Jessica’s wedding dress. She’s another great example of all the good that can come when you steer clear of obligatory and outdated wedding customs.
As beautiful as the dress is, I have to say it’s the veil that really seals the deal for me.

Of course, Harley Quinn star Kaley Cuoco would wear a pink dress! In all seriousness though, she looks absolutely incredible.
Kaley’s billowing gown makes her look like a Disney Princess. She’s beautiful, stunning, and totally in her element.

Would you expect anything less from Kat Von D? She’s absolutely stunning and the red dress is a bold choice.

Another entry in the gorgeous yellow wedding dress canon is Elizabeth Taylor, whose beauty as a woman and as a bride would shine in pretty much every single color of wedding dress imaginable.

The “Milkshake” singer knew how to bring the boys to the yard AND how to bring all eyes to her on her wedding day in this gorgeous green wedding dress.
While the marriage may not have lasted, the dress made an appearance later on the cover of her ex-husband Nas’ album.

Avril Lavigne is sort of the pop punk princess, so it makes sense that her wedding to Nickelback’s lead singer Chad Kroeger was similarly punk rock, down to her jet black wedding dress.

Honey Boo Boo’s mother clearly loves her country side, and showed it off proudly in this beautiful camo wedding dress.
It looks like the groom matched with camo of his own — let’s just hope the wedding photographer was able to find them for the pictures!

Trust Carrie Bradshaw to know how to rock something incredibly unique and chic! Sarah Jessica Parker wore a beautiful black dress to marry Matthew Broderick, and she looked amazing!
Emily Ratajkowski.
Emily stunned in this mustard yellow trouser suit for her courthouse wedding. Emily revealed to Vanity Fair , “I never loved the idea of wearing white for a wedding because I’m not a pure woman. I’m a woman with a lot of character and experience and life.”
She definitely showcased that with her beautiful outfit!
Amber Tamblyn.
Just look at that backdrop: it’s like the trees are exploding in their own brilliant fireworks display. Amber’s yellow dress makes her glow like the sun.
Also, it’s kind of hard to make out from this vantage point – but are they barefoot?

Alison Pill is another starlet who looks breathtaking in yellow. Her tight curls and bright red lipstick are a clear ode to the elegant fashions of the 1940s and 1950s.
