Melanie Lynskey ‘s husband, Jason Ritter is her number one fan.
The actress went home with a Critics Choice Award on Sunday night for Best Drama Series for her role in the hit Showtime series Yellowjackets , and in celebration of her win, her husband took to social media to brag about how awesome she is.

Melanie Lynskey’s husband, Jason Ritter, could not be prouder of her and it’s seriously adorable.
By now, there is a fairly good chance that you’ve either seen or at least heard of the hit Showtime series, Yellowjackets , starring Lynskey as Shauna.
The show’s popularity earned Lynskey a Critics Choice Award on Sunday evening for Best Drama Series, and her husband hasn’t been shy about showing his support online.
This is not the first time that he has shown support for Lynskey on social media, however.
After “Yellowjackets” was released, Lynskey was facing harsh criticism about her body image, to which she responded with a tweet.
“The story of my life since Yellowjackets premiered,” she wrote.
“Most egregious are the ‘I care about her health!; people… you don’t see me on my Peleton! You don’t see me running through the park with my child. Skinny does not always equal healthy,” she added.
Ritter came to her defense not long after, tweeting “If anyone has any further unsolicited comments about anybody else’s body, they can feel free to write them in permanent ink onto their own foreheads.”
“And swan dive directly into the sun,” he added.
Now Ritter is showing his love for Lynskey on Twitter once again, celebrating her latest professional accolade.
He shared a photo of himself and Lynskey posing on the red carpet.
“I am sorry to do this and she will be embarrassed that I did this but my GOODNESS what an absolute [sic] beaut my wife is!” he wrote.
He went on to call Lynskey the “best person” he knows.

“Ok I’m sorry but I mean LOOK at this human being who is also the best person I know,” he penned.
“Ok sorry again goodnight that’s enough from me but also,” he concluded , alongside a flame emoji.
After accepting her award, Lynskey thanked Ritter, calling him the “love of my life” and “the greatest support.”
She also gave a shout-out to their three-year-old daughter, and their family nanny, Sally, who Lynskey dubbed “an absolute angel” and praised her for taking such great care of her daughter.
The 44-year-old thanked the nanny for looking after hers and Ritter’s daughter, making sure she is taken care of, and allowing her to work and bring “Yellowjackets” to life.
“She’s an absolute angel. She’s with my child and my child is safe and taken care of and she allows me to go and do my work,” she said. “Thank you, Sally. I love you so much.”
