1. Harrison could care less about awards.
He’s never been one to get bogged down in the opinions of others.
Harrison very rarely makes appearances at any awards show. In fact, he didn’t even bother to show up to The Oscars the year he was nominated for Best Actor!
When he was asked by Jimmy Kimmel why he didn’t attend, Harrison replied tongue-in-cheek:

“Well, I had a lot of homework .”
Oh, Harrison; always the kidder! He truly is too cool for school. I wonder what he would’ve done had he won?
2. Believe it or not, Harrison campaigned hard to ‘kill off’ Han Solo.

During an interview, Harrison explained that he felt the utility of the character had run its course.
More so, that he was willing to die so as to not taint the legacy of the legendary character.
3. In his younger years, Harrison actually worked as a carpenter.

Before being cast as Han Solo, Harrison built a recording studio for the great Sergio Mendes . When asked if he charged celebrities more than normal paying customers, he replied:

Crate & Barrel is a well-known homeware department store that began in Illinois. According to Harrison, he was fired for returning late from lunch.
