Being a celebrity isn’t all glamourous.
There’s losing most — if not all — of their privacy, dealing with paparazzi, and being talked about a lot on social media.
Many celebs (females, especially) also have to deal with the pressures of fitting an “ideal” body image.

1. Selena Gomez
When the singer dealt with body-shamers criticizing her weight gain from Lupus, she fired back.
“The beauty myth- an obsession with physical perfection that traps modern woman in an endless cycle of hopelessness, self consciousness, and self-hatred as she tries to fulfill society’s impossible definition of flawless beauty.”
2. Ashley Graham
The plus-size model has always been a champion for body positivity.
In 2016, she told People that she didn’t have many women her size in the media to look up to while growing up.
“Girls who are insecure about their bodies, girls who feel fat, girls who have cellulite, girls who have stretch marks on their body — those are all the things that I had as a kid and I never had a woman like me growing up to look at,” she said.
“I had my mother and that’s one thing, but to have somebody who has cellulite, who has things that jiggle, who has back fat and talk about how you can be an overcomer and not let society take you down for all of that. That’s real.”
3. Priyanka Chopra
When the actress was a guest host on The View , she revealed that a producer once told her everything that was wrong with her body.
“There is such a false perception about what women should look like and what our bodies should look like,” she said.
“Especially when you are in the (film) business, you put on a couple of pounds and people are like..body shaming you.”
She continued:
“It happens. Christmas happens to all of us. I am an Indian. I have Holi, I have Diwali, I have hundred holidays and my body fluctuates and you know what… I am fine with it.”
4. Khloé Kardashian
While she’s living her healthiest life now, the reality star has had to deal with the pressures of body image from Hollywood and her own family.
“[They said] “Khloé, you got to lose weight ’cause you’re really hurting the brand”, she recalled on her show Revenge Body .
5. Kelly Clarkson
The Voice judge has always had a voice when it comes to promoting being happy at any size. It’s actually why fans love her so much! She keeps it real.
“People think, Oh, there’s something wrong with her,” she told Redbook in November 2017.

The singer has also made it clear that she felt “miserable” when she was really skinny.

Anyone who knows Mindy Kaling knows that she is always honest and hilarious.
“You know what’s funny? If I call myself a cute, chubby girl, the natural kind woman’s response is, ‘You’re not chubby! You’re beautiful! And thin!’” she told The Guardian in September 2015.
She continued: “And I always want to hug the person and say, ‘It’s OK, I identify as someone who is cute and chubby.”
“That doesn’t mean I’m not worthy of love and attention and intimacy.’ And also, my priorities are not such that I’m mortally offended by someone thinking that.”
8. Hilary Duff
After the Lizzie McGuire star found a picture of her body criticized in a magazine, she fired back.
“Since websites and magazines love to share ‘celeb flaws’ – well I have them!” she captioned her Instagram post.
“My body has given me the greatest gift of my life: Luca, 5 years ago.”
She continued:
“I’m turning 30 in September and my body is healthy and gets me where I need to go. Ladies, lets be proud of what we’ve got and stop wasting precious time in the day wishing we were different, better, and unflawed.”

She may have recently undergone a major weight loss transformation , but that doesn’t change her views on self-love.
“I love food and hate exercise. I don’t have time to work out… I don’t want to be on the cover of Playboy or Vogue… my aim in life is never to be skinny,” she once said.
10. Jennifer Lawrence
Dieting to look a certain way is a no-go for J-Law, and no one is really surprised about that.
“If anybody even tries to whisper the word ‘diet,’ I’m like, ‘You can go [expletive] yourself,’” she told Harper’s Bazaar UK in November 2014.

The famous singer has always been a body-positive advocate. Back in 2017, she tweeted :

It’s not just fat-shaming that goes on in Hollywood; it’s skinny-shaming, too. This is something that Sarah Hyland knows far too much about.
“My self confidence is not rendered from your comments,” she wrote on Twitter in May 2017.
“Because I will always be too fat. I will always be too skinny. I will never have enough curves to be called a woman.”
The Modern Family alum continued:
“And I will always be a [expletive] for wearing a push up bra. Love the you you set out to be. Be the best version of yourself.”
13. Kristen Bell
When the Frozen star had her first child, she rejected the idea of having to “bounce back.” She was busy living her best life.
“I am not a woman whose self-worth comes from her dress size,” she told Redbook in July 2013.
