There are many things that we do in life that other people find annoying, inappropriate, or offensive.
When it comes to genders, women are definitely more opinionated and judgmental than men. They oftentimes feel as though other women give us all a “bad name” or a bad reputation and can make generalizing our entire sex sometimes too easy. So, women online are sharing some things they wish other women would please stop doing.
Those “fake” compliments.
rizcriz shared that she cannot stand when women give other women compliments, that are really just insults masked as compliments. Sometimes, they are backhanded and double-sided, making other women feel very badly.
Pointing out imperfections.
Frenzy008 relayed she wished so many women would stop pointing out things like her acne, and trying to recommend different treatments to her. She says she has “tried them all” and she wished that people would stop pointing it out to her.
Stop “hovering” or clean your own mess up.
GlumAsparagus posted what appeared to be a top comment for other women: please clean up the seat if you tinkle. Many women squat, or “hover,” over the toilet rather than sit on it in public restrooms. GlumAsparagus says she wishes women would clean the seat if they get pee on it.
Faking it all.
SquareUnderwear69 says that if you are going to get immense plastic surgery to look a specific way, don’t “lie” and pretend that it’s natural. The Reddit user points out that it is super toxic to young girls giving them unrealistic beauty standards.
Having kids without wanting to have kids.
shamelessNnameless mentioned that some women have children because they think it will help “fix” a broken relationship. Many agreed that they wish women would stop breeding only to try and “fix” a broken home.
Pretending to be dumb.
2curmudgeony commented saying that she wished women would stop pretending to be dumb to look cute or to impress men. This makes other women look “intimidating” when they don’t care to pretend to look stupid.
Pretending everything is a competition.
KiviRinne said that she is tired of women always pretending that things are a competition. She says, “Can’t we exchange our experiences without the thought of a competition behind it,” instead of making everything into a “who is better/worse than who.”
Trying to act like your parenting style is the best.
rowenaravenclaw0 mentioned that many women compete over their parenting style and try to make it out as though their way of parenting their children is “better” than everyone else. Instead of judging, helping each other is best.

Glorifying mental illness for clout.
mariellaxm said that she continuously sees women online, on places like Instagram and TikTok, that are using their mental illness for views and shares. She said that she wishes people wouldn’t be glorifying mental illness just for views online.
Thinking men will change for you.
SprintingWolf said that she wishes women would stop thinking that men will change when they begin dating. If a man likes to play video games as a hobby, that doesn’t mean that they will stop playing video games once you begin dating them.
Judging women for eating more than you.
Unknownalias112 shared that some women like to eat, while others like to diet and not eat as much. But, when women are going out together and one eats more than another, the “comments and snickering,” yeah, stop that.
Turning a blind eye to red flags.
Icy-Pin-8226 confessed that women who think men will stop bad habits, like sleeping around and cheating, will never work. Women need to realize that when men are pigs, they have to get up and leave the relationship.
