Oftentimes, when someone is passionate enough about what they’re preaching, it takes a lot to quiet them. But one woman discovered that sometimes all it takes is a little bit of spontaneous nudity and people will shut right up.
In the midst of an anti-abortion protest taking place outside a catholic high school, one woman decided to take matters into her own hands

She went topless in order to shutdown the protesters, My Kawartha reported.
On June 4, a group of anti-abortion protesters traveled around to different high schools, armed with signs.

Members of the Choice42 group went from school to school throughout the Canadian city of Peterborough, Ontario, brandishing their signs which ranged from simple text to graphic images claiming to be aborted fetuses.
At one catholic high school, they were met with students who debated with the protesters.

Two students from Holy Cross Secondary School stood outside the property with the protesters, engaging in a debate that was captured on video.
In the clip, the students can be heard pointing out the graphic nature of the group’s signs.

“That’s your opinion,” one protester told one of the students.
As the students and protesters continue their debate, a woman can be seen approaching them with a sign in hand.

In the video, she says nothing upon joining the group outside the school, but instead wordlessly strips off her shirt and bares her breasts to the students, the protesters, and vehicles passing on the adjacent road.
As the people around her watched on, she held up a sign that read, “Can’t feed it? Don’t breed it!”

After a few moments, the students returned to their school while the protesters retreated to their cars, all the while followed by the still-topless woman and her sign.
Other students who witnessed the woman’s nudity told her it was a catholic high school and to “go away”.
In response the woman said, “You’re welcome by the way” and added, “You’ve never seen [expletive] before? You did know it’s your right to show them, right?”
Responses to the woman’s spontaneous nudity have certainly been mixed.
Many people across social media have praised the woman for shutting down the protest, and for also demonstrating what one Facebook user called “the power of the boob.”
They saw this as a powerful move made by the topless woman.

“Not all hero’s [sic] wear capes!,” one person commented.
“[I]f I would have known I would have joined her!,” another remarked.
They’ve also expressed regret at the disgusted teenage girls at the scene who “don’t yet understand” why the woman’s message of nudity is so powerful.

Others have pointed out that the woman exposed herself to underage high school students and claim that she should be arrested.
“Lock her up and put her on the list of sexual criminals,” one YouTube user commented.

“She sexually assaulted those children. She has a criminal who should be locked up for a long time and she should have to register for the rest of her life.”
Another responded, “Not sure where this happened, but after speaking to my local police department, I was told that a topless person would be arrested if this was in a public area.”

However, it is legal for women to be topless in public in Ontario.
No matter your opinion on the matter, there’s no denying that this woman accomplished exactly what she set out to do.
She had one goal in mind (stopping those protesters in their tracks), and she did just that, albeit without a shirt on.
She came, she saw, she conquered. And she made a lot of old people uncomfortable at the sight of her breasts, despite holding signs of pictures claiming to be dead fetuses.

Not all heroes wear capes, guys.
