Let’s talk about the greatest epidemic that modern society has ever had to face: that thing where your arm falls asleep .
Don’t you dare call me dramatic. If you’ve ever experienced the ridiculous sensation of numbness coupled with this weird TV static pins and needles madness that goes on, you too understand the tragedy that befalls mankind.
The worst case of this is if you’re a side-sleeper. Normally, one arm is curled under your pillow, which means the entire weight of your damn body is on it, thus starting a vicious ‘dead arm’ cycle throughout the night.
‘Dead Arm’ is pretty much inevitable if you’re cuddling your partner.
It’s true—the big spoon is bound to a life of pain.
Let’s look at the science. Not only is your hubby or wifey crushing their arm under the pillow with their own weight, but now they can’t move because you’ve fallen asleep on it.
But never fear spoonie, we’ve a pillow for that.

The company Coodle is selling a new curved ‘Coodle Pillow’, specifically shaped to take extra weight off of your arm while you sleep.
“Inside each pillow is four arched plastic braces,” the product description reads, “These braces serve to block any pressure from pressing against an arm or leg.”
The product even has a romantic origin story.

A young man with an Industrial Arts degree came up with the idea for the Coodle Pillow while his girlfriend was laying on his arm on evening. He then tested out different pro types by molding them and baking them in his oven.
The Coodle Pillow has a 5-star-rating on Amazon.

“I just keep it on my couch now. Mostly I use it to nap on my stomach with my hand in the tunnel under my head,” one review reads.
Another customer wrote that they “absolutely love the pillow! It’s great for cuddling but also the versatility of using it to prop up my phone or iPad or just as a pillow on its own is great.”
The Coodle Pillow is available on Amazon for $49. Trust me, your boyfriend will thank you.
