One of the best parts of any holiday is decorating , and Halloween is no exception. However, it’s nice to introduce a little variety into the picture year after year of the same old thing.
Thanks to TikTok user @ saraeish (Saraa in real life), Halloween enthusiasts now have a new twist on a classic decorative item, inspired by none other than “The Boy Who Lived” — Harry Potter.
The Halloween season is ripe with tradition.

The most well-known and widely celebrated among them, of course, is trick-r-treating. But unfortunately, that’s mostly reserved for toddlers and tweens — much to the chagrin of adults worldwide.
Watching scary movies is another great way to ring in the holiday.

But what if you happen to be someone who spirals into a full-blown panic attack at the very suggestion of participating in a nightmare-inducing horror movie marathon?
The easy answer is a tried and true holiday staple — pumpkin carving.

There’s nothing quite like a trip to your local farmer’s field in order to pick out the perfect pumpkin to carve into a Jack-O-Lantern — you can even turn the seeds into a tasty Halloween treat!
However, if you’re someone like me who can’t carve anything other than triangle eyes and square teeth — pumpkin carving can be pretty boring.

If only we could somehow figure out a way to elevate the art of pumpkin carving, to really kick it up a notch and take things to the next level.
Thanks to the recent innovation of TikTok user @sareishh (Saraa in real life), we now have a new twist on this spooky classic.

Saraa was inspired by one of her all-time favorite Halloween-.themed films, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone . Notably, the scene with the Halloween feast in the Great Hall.
During the Halloween season, the Great Hall is adorned with hundreds of floating Jack-O-Lanterns.

Wanting to see if she could replicate this classic piece of Hogwarts decoration, she headed off to Target to see what she could dig up.
In no time at all, Saraa found a collection of miniature
She brought the pumpkins home and set to work. First, Saraa drilled small holes in the peduncle of the pumpkin, and then threaded the fishing wire through the holes.
Once the fishing wire was firmly secured, Saraa then began hanging the pumpkins from the ceiling.

Saraa recommends using either command hooks or removable wall strips in order to secure the pumpkins properly. If you think they look good during the day, you should see them at night!
If you like Saraa’s idea for hanging Jack-O-Lanterns, you’ll love her other Halloween-themed decorative finds.

Saraa has an entire page on the LTK shopping app dedicated to her love of Halloween. Among some of her top finds are a hollowed-out skull candle holder and an adorable ghost lamp.
Saraa also posted a short TikTok on how to make her favorite spooky Halloween cocktail.

The best part about this delectable drink is that it actually bubbles like a witch’s cauldron! The secret is a little bit of dry ice.
So if you’re looking to dust off the cobwebs on your spooky old Halloween decor, look no further than Saraa’s Linktree page.
