One of the most intense experiences of our lives is when we move into a new place. There is so much to see and do that you tend to forget about the little things. You know, like that attic that’s full of dust and creepy surroundings.
So, once you do move, there are bound to be some surprises , and these folks found some good ones.
1. This Motherload
I know that people hide money in all sorts of weird places in their homes. But to find a $105 in the vent of the dryer is pretty odd, right? What a happy find for this new homeowner, huh?
2. This Interesting Discovery
Who here loves secret hiding places? They’re my absolute favorite. I can honestly say that realizing that your new abode has a secret room hidden under the stairs would thrill me to no end. OMG, I love it!
3. This Horrifying Find
One of the most terrifying things for me is wasps. They’re so annoying, and they stung me as a child a few times. So, if I found this humongous wasp’s nest, I would get the hell out of there fast.
4. This Unusual Clock
I’m such a big fan of clocks. I just like all the different styles. But this one that goes anti-clockwise has me quite baffled. My first question would be, “Why?” What’s the reasoning for it? Anyone?

5. This Coffee Lover’s Dream
Let me ask you a question: How much do you love your coffee? If you answered “a lot,” then you’ll get a kick out of this. This house has a coffee maker built right into the wall.

So you breathe a sigh of relief when you go through your new house and don’t find anything creepy or unusual. And then, you venture outside and find out there’s a graveyard behind your home. Yikes, that’s not unsettling at all, ha, ha!
9. This Unique Sink Drawer
This custom sink vanity was designed to fit around the plumbing and utilize every nook and cranny. I could always use more storage space, so I’d be thrilled to find a drawer like this!
10. This Historic Treasure
Isn’t it so fascinating when you find something from history? In this case, the owners of this new house found some interesting paperwork dating back to WWI. This document needs to be in a museum or something like that.
11. This Musical Find
Get a load of this unique find here. This person’s mother-in-law bought a new home. And then she realized it came with a built-in cassette player that plays throughout the entire house. What? How is that even possible?
12. These Odd Carvings
What would you think if you moved into your new home and found these carvings above one of the doors? Weird or what? I hope this isn’t some kind of voodoo because that would totally creep me out.
13. These Vintage Board Games
Who here is a fan of board games? I loved playing them as a kid. I wish I had more time to do it now. But regardless of that, I really dig this cool retro find.

Looking at these makes me wish I was moving into a new place right about now. I hope one day I can discover something as cool as what these folks have found.
