Fans of R&B/pop singer Rihanna mayyyy have to wait just a bit longer to hear her new music.
Especially now that it appears Rih is gearing up to add another line to her ever growing Fenty institution .
Here’s what you need to know about the Fenty brand.
In 2017, Rihanna teamed up with LVMH to launch her cosmetics line Fenty Beauty and the beauty world has been in shambles ever since.
Her line, particularly the foundation, was widely praised for its diversity and extensive shade range.
Where other brands fell short, Rihanna stepped up and gave the girls shades to match nearly every complexion.
The move then created the “Fenty Effect” with major cosmetics brands racing to follow in Rihanna’s footsteps.
More recently, Rihanna put out her first collection of bronzers.
Being the unofficial skin diversity queen that she is, she made sure to include 8 different shades to flatter every skin tone.
If that weren’t enough, the singer has also dipped her toes into other markets.
When she’s not slaying the music and beauty industries, this bad gal is also taking over the fashion world.
Her lingerie line SavagexFenty dropped last spring and nearly sold out within just 24 hours.
Now, it seems, she’s coming for the skincare industry.
According to their online database , “Fenty Skin” has been officially filed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
The filing, which first appeared on March 25th, covers skin care, soap, body care, personal care products and other related accessories and kits.
Fans quickly jumped on social media to share their excitement about the news.
One user wrote, “I can’t wait for Fenty Skin…my skin will be glowing.”
Meanwhile, some fans had a more urgent matter on their mind.
One Twitter user asked, “Can she release an album first?” To which another replied, “Fenty skin IS the album. That’s the gag.”
Rihanna’s fans have been patiently waiting for her to release new music since the star promised that an album was in the works.
Now with Fenty Skin potentially en route, many are questioning when that day will ever come.
Will Rih Rih ever cease to impress us? I doubt it. Will we still be getting new music? I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
Who knows when we’ll even be able to get our hands on any Fenty Skin products.
All I know is, if her cosmetics line is any indicator of how good her skincare will be, I’m already sold.
