Working from home no doubt served as a leeway and a dream for many workers, but it does come with its own challenges. One of these is the distraction around a remote worker when it’s time to get to business. The OP Got An Opportunity To Work From Home

His Wife Was Being Difficult

He Got Tired Of Working From Home
The Reddit user began his story by explaining the nature of his work and some of the necessary criteria. According to the husband, he works in the medical field and although he is not a doctor, his job requires that he discuss confidential information with clients and doctors.
He then got an opportunity to work from home and he felt it was a good offer. He told his wife about the opportunity, explaining that it was a lovely proposal that will allow him to be at home for three more days every week.
The man still had to go to work every Tuesday and Thursday, but he could dedicate a few hours to his family on the days he wouldn’t be at work. The narrator noted that he believed he could assist with some of the family chores like his daughter’s morning routine while also working.
The Redditor wrote that he was also excited that his wife would have the car at her disposal for the extra three days and he could spend more time with their 4-year-old. However, while he had more time with his family, he also had to concentrate on his work, so he explained to his daughter that she should not interrupt whenever she saw that his door was locked.
The little girl seemed to understand the new condition but her mother did not. The man wrote that she constantly came into his office when he was having meetings. He explained that their daughter even tried stopping her mom from interrupting but she did not stop.
He was forced to put a lock on the door but his wife wasn’t pleased with it. She finally stopped disturbing me until Thanksgiving came.
The lady appeared to be very busy and for some reason, she seemed to have no one to babysit their 4-year-old girl while she had to go to the market.
She went to her husband’s door and shook the lock profusely until he was forced to mute his meeting. He told her to leave him alone until the end of the day and she left. She later texted that their daughter was watching TV in the other room while she was away.
The lady’s action made the Redditor return to his work in the office as he realized it would be better. However, his wife was not pleased.
The woman hated that she would be limited to using Uber or their parents’ cars when her husband was away. The man also wanted to be close to his wife but he made the best decision for his job.
According to the narrator, he is the “sole breadwinner” of his family and he did not want to get fired. However, his wife believed he was wrong for going back to the office. After explaining his family dilemma, the Redditor also asked viewers if he had made the wrong decision.
