Some things out there seem super impossible , even if they’re actually pretty likely. Sometimes, though, they’re just things we’d never think about until we actually saw them with our own two eyes.
These pictures show some pretty strange and unlikely things. But rest assured, they’re all possible. After all, how else would people have been able to take pictures of them?
“The pumpkin vine grew into the tree now there’s a pumpkin growing in it.”
Now, we (should) all know that pumpkins don’t grow on trees. The grow on plants that tend to attach their vines to things like trellises and fences. But if a pumpkin plant is grown close to a tree, then it could at least look like it’s making a pumpkin tree.
The measuring labels on this stick of butter go from 2 tablespoons straight to 8.
Printing errors may not be impossible, but they are pretty unlikely. So whenever you see one on a package — which should’ve been inspected carefully, no less — it’s always a bit of a shock. Who let that 8 posing as a 3 go unnoticed?
This package came from the ’80s.
If you look closely at the date stamped on this package, it says March 15th, 1982. That would make this package nearly 40 years old.
And according to therealdawg, who received the package, it really was from the ’80s, and ended up being sent to them in 2021.
The worst part is there was nothing interesting in the box.
This one marker that was packaged without a cap.
This would probably annoy me more than anything else. Like, how do things like this end up going unnoticed? Luckily, it doesn’t happen that often. It’s not impossible, but it’s also not common, which makes it a little bit better.
This is a traffic signal for anyone making a U-turn.
I can confidently say that I’ve never been at an intersection that has a U-turn traffic light. Usually, there are a bunch of signs telling me not to make a U-turn, so this is a really interesting change of pace. I wish these were in more places.
“A street in two different countries – red sidewalk is Monaco, grey or no sidewalk is France.”
It’s so weird to see a border that has so little going on around it. Monaco is a pretty small country that’s basically inside of France, so it makes sense that they share borders. But the fact that the border is just a street is so strange.
Whoever put this sign here had a serious sense of humor.
Beware of crocs, huh? Well, to some people, Crocs the shoes would probably be even scarier than crocodiles somehow ending up in this pond. But hey, at least they won’t try to eat you if you get too close.
“A piece of bread from the bag I bought was still dough.”
This feels like the kind of thing that should absolutely never happen. After all, that bread would’ve all been made in the same place, so you’d think it would’ve been baked at the same time. But stranger things have happened, I suppose…

Hopefully, the car is legit, and it’s just the tire cover there that’s a bootleg item (for some reason). Either that, or Jeep made a very obvious mistake when stamping their logo on the cover. Could’ve been avoided so easily, but you live and you learn.
“The beer I’m drinking was canned earlier today.”
The person who posted this image did so on August 30, 2021. That just so happened to be the same day that the beer was canned. It must’ve come directly from the brewery, because there’s no other way anyone could’ve gotten it that fast.

Just when you thought origami paper boats couldn’t get any smaller, this person had to go and make one that’s practically microscopic! How do you even fold paper that’s this small? I almost feel like we’ve witnessed a new world record being set, because I literally can’t imagine them getting any smaller.
This creepy hole in the floor.
There’s something super creepy about this seemingly random hole in this floor. It might be the way there’s no light in the hole, which makes it look like it’s a bottomless pit or something.
I honestly couldn’t imagine something like that existing in my house.
“This beached fish and a rock with a similar shape. I thought there were two fish at first glance.”
On one hand, I feel kind of bad for that tiny beached fish. On the other hand, it’s wild how that rock looks so similar to it. You really could easily mistake the rock for a second fish.
“My house was built around 1866. A fire destroyed the top portion in 1922. Luckily what remained was salvaged.”
I can’t lie, this is actually awesome. The fact that any part of this house got to be saved is impressive. It’s not as amazing as the house in its original 1866 state, but it’d still be a really cool place to live.
“Went to get a plate at my parent’s house, opened the cabinet to see the bowls defying physics.”
Something’s telling me they should start using those bowls. Like, now. Before they fall over and make a mess of the counter. Seriously, looking at this is stressing me out.

This feather is suspended in the air – by a spider web.
During most conditions, spider webs are basically invisible, which can create some cool effects. It can make impossible things seem possible, like a feather floating in the air.
Unfortunately, that means that magic isn’t real. You win some, you lose some.
“We found a missile while out blueberry picking.”
Well then, you really don’t see something like this every day. Luckily, it didn’t activate. But for good measure, it’s probably best to leave it as-is and call someone who can take care of it. Like, the bomb squad? Something like that.
“Blue fungus that turned the whole interior of this stick blue.”
Magic may not be real, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have a magic wand. Or at the very least, a stick that looks kind of like a magic wand. That blue fungus has a bit of a luminescent quality to it, so it looks like it’s glowing. Cool!
The sheer absurdity of this car’s brake light-filled back bumper.
I guess this person would never have to worry about one of their tail lights burning out? Since they have so many other lights? I dunno, that’s the best explanation I can think of for this, and it isn’t even that good.
“Someone had their pet wombat tied up at the park.”
I, for one, did not know people could just keep wombats as pets. But I guess if you can have a raccoon or fox as a pet, a wombat isn’t really out of the realm of possibilities.
Still, you have to admit that this is weird.
“A truck just pulled up in front of our house that looks similar to my son’s toy.”
Wow, that’s one crazy coincidence. They don’t look the exact same, but that toy truck and that real truck have very similar designs and color schemes. I bet the kid who owns this toy would’ve been super excited to see this.
“This lemon grew in slices.”
This lemon looks kind of like a pumpkin thanks to its different segments. Like a bright, yellow pumpkin.
Man, plants are such weird things. They always grow flowers and fruit in such weird ways. I guess there’s really no such thing as perfection in nature.
The super secret menu this restaurant has.
Most restaurants and chains have “secret menus,” or secret items that the staff know how to make, but they don’t advertise for whatever reason. But this secret menu seems like so much more of a secret. All because someone printed it in the word’s tiniest font.
This cat that sits in a really strange way.
I swear, the more cat pictures I see, the less sense they make. Cats can contort themselves in such odd ways, and you really have to wonder if they’re comfortable when they sit like this.
This cat doesn’t seem to be too bothered, so I guess that’s our answer.

That’s definitely one way to keep your window propped open. It may not be the best way, but it gets the job done, that’s for sure.
Sometimes, a thing doesn’t have to look glamorous. It just has to work. Which it technically does.

Wait, this is actually so cool! Who would’ve thought that leaving a shirt crumpled up in the sun would give it a tie-dye job? Why use bleach when you can get the job done naturally (and slowly)?

This house caused me to have a slight panic attack, and I’m betting it got you, too. But don’t worry, those aren’t real ants. The giant ant-pocalypse isn’t happening just yet.
I wonder how many people walking by this house got startled by the ant sculptures…
This train station that was built using parts of train tracks.
Whoa, that’s actually so cool! Who would’ve ever thought to make a whole train station using parts from actual train tracks? Like, it seems obvious now, but I wouldn’t have ever known it was possible until I saw it for myself.
“Water levels at Lake Powell are so low you can find old wrecks out of the water.”
As sad as it is that this lake has lost so much of its water, this sight is pretty fascinating. The boat must’ve been underwater for a long time. But now, we get to see it, clear as day.
No, those aren’t letters in that spider web.
For a split second, I thought there were letters in this web. But those are just random shapes. Too bad, though; it would’ve been really cool if Charlotte’s Web happened in real life.
Sadly, the book isn’t real. It’s just fiction.
