Twitter user Mrs Mumba (aka @Miss_Powerhouse) decided to start a thread of toilets in weird places in real estate listings. I just want to thank her for starting with this toilet up a flight of stairs, because it really sets the standard for the rest of these nightmares.

This is super helpful for those who simply don’t want to take a break when cooking. Gotta pee? Need a shower, but you have the oven timer on? Not a problem in this house.

When I tell y’all this is what my nightmares look like, I am so not joking. I want to believe this is photoshopped, but I’ve seen enough bad bathroom designs in my life to believe this could be real.

This reminds me of those days. Can’t leave the TV for even a second, or something might happen on Grey’s Anatomy season 1 that will have you regretting that pee break.

Romance can be a heart-shaped, pastel pink tub and matching pastel pink toilets. Is it me, or do those toilets totally look like a butt? Idk. Maybe I’ve got bathroom humor on the brain.

When you can’t afford urinals.
“Hey, urinals are expensive. What should we do?”
“Throw two toilets in there and call it a day. They’ll get it.”
It’s a no from me. It’s actually a huge hell no from me.
Why do people do this?
This is the second actual throne in this article, and I have some questions. If you’re going to put a toilet up a flight of stairs, should you not also include hand rails? That turned out to be only question, actually.
There are a lot of toilets in kitchens around here.
I know property owners like to cut corners, but there’s gotta be a limit. At least add a WALL if you’re going to put a toilet anywhere near the place you cook.
It’s killing me that this toilet is actually hooked up.
I thought maybe someone had just slid it under there while they worked on something, but no. It’s hooked up and ready to go. I guess it could be a toilet for kids?
For those large dishes: a shower.
Sure, why not? Get your dishes clean in this KITCHEN SHOWER. I don’t know how anyone could justify doing this, but…honestly, it’s hilarious. I would laugh my butt off if I walked in this kitchen.
Some of the replies to the thread had PURE GOLD in them.
This set of toilets was located at a business. Like, an honest to god business had these toilets set up like it was totally normal. I guess that’s one way to promote employee bonding, huh?
Now that’s a master bath.
Why have an attached master bathroom? Why have walls? Eliminate all that excess and stick the toilet right in your room. Boom, prison chic.
(That bathtub, on the other hand…now that looks nice.)
I’m worried about the amount of landlords who think this is okay.
Spoiler alert: if you have to put the bathroom in the kitchen, your property is not worth renting! Why? Because whoever lives there will have the lowest damn quality of life. Be better landlords!
Who doesn’t like to pee with an audience?
WHAT happened here? Is this a conference room that just had to make do? A bathroom missing a wall? A very specific place where people are kinda into watching someone pee? Who’s to say?
What happened to privacy?
The fact that there was more than one reply with toilets placed next to each other is…concerning, to say the least. I know businesses like to cut corners, but there is a damn LIMIT, PEOPLE.
