Every pregnancy is different. Most moms go through different experiences, milestones, and moments when pregnant with their children. But, when a mother experiences multiple pregnancies, they get to compare what happens from first to second, to sometimes even third and fourth.
Many moms compare their pregnancies in terms of size, weight gain, cravings, and mood swings.

No matter how many children you have, no two pregnancies are exactly the same. Things change from child to child as each baby is different in their own way.
Many doctors say that your second child will be a bit different than your first.

Many mothers gain more weight with their second pregnancy than their first, however, are more comfortable having been through the process already.
Natalie Bennett, a mom vlogger, decided to share the comparisons between her first and second pregnancies.

Bennett shared photos throughout her pregnancies but was pregnant with twins the first time around. Obviously, there’s a big difference between carrying two babies and then carrying one. Not only just the size, but the way in which your body feels.
Carrying two babies is a lot for any momma to handle.

Not only is it twice as much weight on your body, but you are nourishing and growing two babies, over one. It puts an added amount of pressure on moms.
She captured and compared her pregnancies.

Natalie, who vlogs on YouTube and frequently shared video updates on her pregnancy, shared the true trials and triumphs of twin pregnancies versus a single baby pregnancy.
Her first pregnancy was different in a lot of ways.

In her video vlog, she says: “Life was so different when I was pregnant with my boys. First of all, I didn’t have any kids yet, so I was free to be my big old pregnant self in whatever capacity I needed to be…”
But at the same time, having twins made things more complicated.

“But, the pregnancy itself was so much less comfortable than what it is now. I had twice as many doctor’s appointments, so there’s that…I would say that this pregnancy overall has been more convenient because it has been so straightforward: One baby is so much more straightforward than a pregnancy with multiples.”
Overall, Natalie says that comparing pregnancies is totally normal for any mom.

But, when comparing pregnancies from twins to single babies— it’s like comparing apples to oranges.
On the bright side, having one baby means fewer check-ups and appointments.

She did say in her video that having only one baby does give her a bit more “freedom” in terms of the scheduling and doctors visits. Natalie claims that it is a tad “enjoyable” to have more space between checkups.
Natalie also said that her body felt “so much better” throughout her second pregnancy.

She also added that her opinion and comparisons are based on her own journey, and she’s only speaking on her own twins versus single baby pregnancies — not all women.
Natalie also said that knowing she was having a girl, after having twin boys, added an entirely new emotional journey for her.

But, above all, she’s happy that she had two, healthy and fulfilling pregnancies.
