Where she pointed out that some people think that marriage is the end of the road and often stop putting effort into the relationship. She described marriage as “an intensive, hands-on, daily commitment.”

A man confessed that the way he got married didn’t help him make a proper decision if his wife was compatible with him, saying that they tried changing themselves for each other, but that didn’t work out.
He said: “We tried to change for each other, but it felt like suffocating trying to be someone we are not. This caused frustration and stress in our life. Everyday we were unhappy.”
Others were just blinded by love
One man left a piece of advice out of his very own experience: “If there are red flags, investigate! I did not do so in my case because I thought love triumphs all.”
He also expressed how much he regretted not listening to his friends and family who warned him, telling readers not to make the same mistake.

Someone even put a spotlight on the financial aspect, saying, “Money can be a major source of stress in a marriage. If one partner is not good with finances or spends too much, it can cause a lot of tension and even resentment.”
Some men cherish their freedom
Another man added his personal experience, saying: “Before getting married, you are usually free to make what ever you want to do without checking with any one. That changes after marriage because usually you need to at least make sure your wife knows were you are.”
