A little while ago, I wrote about a bold mom who let her daughter pick her outfit for school photo day and the results were hilarious. Why? Because the little girl chose to wear green, and, of course, green is the color of the green screen frequently used by photographers.
Apparently, this is a more common occurrence as this mom also found out when her son wore green as well.
Laurel Boone Hutsell was surprised when she got her son’s pictures from school photo day.

Her son warned her that his green shirt might have blended with the green screen they used to take the photos. It wasn’t until she received the proofs that she saw how bad it was.
“Seriously cracking up! At least his hair and smile were on point!” she said in her viral post.
She just had to share these photos with the internet to give everyone a good laugh.
Oh, how patriotic is this picture?

I honestly think I actually like this kind of photo more than the regular one with him just standing in front of the flag.
I think this picture is definitely a keeper.
If there was only one pic our of the bunch my vote would go towards this patriotic one. Why not? So unique!
This one looks like one bad Photoshop job, ha, ha, ha!

I like how his arms are just floating in the air and coming out of nowhere. This is priceless.
This one is giving me some cool, rustic cabin feels.

Or maybe a fantasy one, as if he’s been covered by the invisibility cloth or something. Pretty magical.
Why ask for a retake when you can just keep these cool pictures and laugh about the whole experience for years to com?
Are you with me on this one?
Wow, this one might be my favorite besides the flag one.

I feel like this one is looking a bit retro and even has an actual T-shirt outline. Groovy!
I think even Austin Powers would agree that this one is pretty groovy, baby!
I really like the pastel color scheme in it as well.
“All in all, you’re just another brick in the wall.”

Aww, this one looks a little depressing, no?
Purple is one of my favorite colors, so I’m digging this one.

It looks sort of angelic or celestial to me and I think that’s kind of wicked. I hope they ordered these ones!
Looks like I’m not the only one who thinks these are fun and actually a really cool keepsake.

Check out all these comments his mom got on Facebook from users around the world.
I totally agree with this lady.

This is such a fun and unique way to show your love for your country. The flag picture is a brilliant keepsake.
I bet some parents are feeling like they wished this happened to them so they would have a cool bunch of photos as well.

I don’t blame them!
All that encouragement has made the parents feel much better about how the pictures turned out.

And they definitely think this was “no biggie”. Way to go, I say.
So what do you think of this supposed picture day fiasco?
Do you think they should’ve asked for a retake or just keep these pictures? I think they’re keepers.
