So it only seems right that they would make sure that their next money-making generation is set for the future.
The Kardashian-Jenner family business is nothing at all like your typical family business.
Every single family member has their own hustle that brings in millions of dollars per person from their reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians to Kim’s KKW Beauty collection.
Combined, the net worth of the Kardashian-Jenner family is in the billions with little sis Kylie Jenner worth $1 billion all on her own.
Even Kim’s oldest daughter has started making a name for herself.
North may only be 5-years-old but she was already featured on the cover of WWD magazine’s special beauty issue.
The little fashionista also had her runway debut at the L.O.L. Surprise Fashion Show in Santa Monica last fall.
Recently Kim and Kanye announced the birth of their new baby.
Their fourth child is a baby boy who was delivered by a surrogate on May 9th, 2019.
Staying true to their tradition of using unusual baby names, their newest addition to the family was named Psalm West.
Now, it appears that Kim wants to add her newborn son’s name to her family’s growing empire.
It was first reported that Kim filed for trademark protection under her company for baby Psalm on May 18th.
A quick check of the United States Patent and Trademark Office database also confirms this to be true and- wow! This trademark seems to cover everything!

Some people have already reacted to the news of Kim trademarking her baby.
“please please please tell me how you can trademark a Psalm when its already in the bible Inquiring minds wanna know. Oh and don’t come at me with PSALM AND PSALMS…” one person tweeted.
Another wrote, “I love how they think anyone would want to use this name.”
In the end this isn’t the first time Kim has trademarked her child’s name.
As a matter-of-fact, all of her children, along with their cousins True Thompson and Stormi Webster have their names trademarked for potential businesses.
So far none of these trademarks have been put to use yet. It’s most likely that they’re just ensuring that their names are protected for the moment when they’re old enough to join the family business.
