Like father, like sons!
While on the red carpet for the premiere of Jumanji: The Next Level , all eyes were on Jack Black and his sons.
More specifically, on how these kiddos look exactly like their famous dad!
When Jack Black isn’t making the world laugh, he’s busy being a devoted dad to his two kids!
The Tenacious D actor is the father to two teenage boys, 13-year-old Samuel Jason (not Jackson) and 11-year-old Thomas David.
He shares them with his wife Tanya Haden, who he’s been been married to since 2006.
While his kids haven’t taken after his acting roots quite yet, they are creative in other ways.
Back in 2017, the School of Rock actor opened up to People about his kids’ artistic talent.
“Their drawings are getting so good. I’ve got a couple Picassos up in there,” he said.
He also opened up about some of the things the family likes to do together.
“We do a lot of swimming, a lot of video gaming, a lot of biking. There’s a lot of Splatoon 2 going down on Nintendo Switch,” Black shared of growing up with teenage boys.
All in all, the actor and comedian describes his style of parenting as “relaxed.”
While speaking to Fitzy and Wippa on Australia’s Nova 96.9 this December, he even shared how he’s not the best parent at times.
“I win the bad parent of the year award, occasionally,” he joked , explaining that he lets his kids watch movies that they “probably shouldn’t.”
But it’s not completely free-reign for the kiddos; there are conditions involved.
“As long as you have the remote in hand so if something gets out of control, you can pause and have a little talk. As long as you’re there and aware of what’s going on and you’re ready to talk to them or ready to leave if it’s too intense.”
Recently, his sons’ joined him on the red carpet for the premiere of the *family-friendly* movie, “Jumanji: The Next Level.”
In the highly-anticipated sequel, Jack reprises his role as Professor Shelly Oberon.
But this time, Fridge is the person trapped inside of him in the game.
While on the red carpet, the fam posed together for pictures and Black even showed some fatherly love by kissing his sons on the cheeks.
Seeing them so close helped fans see just how much his kids are basically splitting images of him.

It could also be the family’s similar style.
While at the premiere, the family looked casual in suits with sneakers.
Samuel had on a maroon suit; Thomas wore dark blue, and both had on graphic tees underneath.
This isn’t the first time Jack has shared the benefits of fame with his kids.
His sons have seen Jack’s band Tenacious D from backstage.
Jack did so because he wanted his kids to have a ‘little taste of the hard rock and the glory.”
He’s even taken them to see a singer more around their age: 17-year-old Billie Eilish.
At the end of it, Black said that he was really “impressed” with the singer.
Fans will really have to soak in seeing Jack on the big screen since the actor recently revealed that “Jumanji: The Next Level” might be his last movie.
That’s right, the master of comedy is thinking of retiring.
“Maybe one more movie,” the actor said in an interview with Balance .
“I’m kind of enjoying the idea of early retirement….I’ve been saying for a long time that this is the last movie. We’ll see,” he said.
“I can’t really say what my next thing is because it’s too early; it’s a jinxer. I’ve got a couple of tricks up my sleeve. But not too many. I’m looking to wrap it up pretty soon. Ride off into the sunset.”
When it comes down to it, his reasons are admirable as he’s tired of being away from his family.
“Yeah. That is a big part of it,” he said. “I don’t like going away from Tanya and the boys.”
If he really leaves, we’re going to miss him so much!
