There is one celebrity that could seriously be crowned the queen of Halloween if there were such an award, and that’s German American model Heidi Klum.
The spooky season is never complete without Klum appearing in full crafty costume dressed as something awesome. From throwing Halloween parties to showing up in extravagant costumes, this year was no different for the supermodel.

The German American supermodel has dressed up in epic outfits over the years. Some of these include appearing as Jessica Rabbit, Fiona from Sherk, and a 95-year-old version of herself.

In speaking with Vogue on her costume last year, Klum mentioned wanting to make it bigger that year, that it “needed to be more magical than in the year’s past”.
She wanted to make up for pausing the tradition due to the pandemic.
This year tops all her looks
This year, Klum stayed on brand by taking Halloween to the next level. She dressed up as the iconic movie character E.T.
Being a recognizable character for anyone who has been on Earth since the ’80s, E.T. was a magical choice to make.
The character’s costume was perfected
The 1982 character is so iconic that the dressing up process really paid off.
Earlier in the day on October 31st, Klum took to Instagram to tease her outfit, knowing that the world was waiting to see what she had in store this year.
She teased parts of her costume first
At first, Klum only shared an image of her nail-polished fingers holding a prosthetic thumb with a video of her in costume, minus the alien head.
She only allowed the camera to film her face, which was still not in costume, leaving everyone guessing.
People on social media loved the look
After the pictures of the Halloween queen all dressed up as the E.T. alien made it to social media, users were amazed.
Someone took to X, saying “Oh wow. That’s incredible. And fills my childhood heart with joy.”
The costume took several hours
In one of Klum’s videos, prosthetic designer Mike Mario said they still had six more hours of getting dressed. The process must have taken all day.
