Health influencer Stacey Warnecke has tragically passed away after enduring ‘extremely rare’ complications while giving birth at home.
She’s known for her lifestyle content

Warnecke, who was based in Melbourne, Australia, was known online for her videos about nutrition and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
The 30-year-old, also known as Stacey Hatfield, died last month while giving birth, according to her husband, Nathan Hatfield.
Hatfield explained what happened

The influencer’s husband issued a lengthy and emotional statement where he explained that she had died while giving birth to their first child.
He shared a photo from their wedding day and detailed the health complications that led to Warnecke’s death.
He wanted to inform her followers

“Its with heavy heart that i share with you the unexpected passing of my beautiful wife, soul mate and best friend, Stacey Warnecke (Hatfield),” the husband wrote.
“Stace passed on the 29th September 2025 after successfully giving birth to our firstborn son, Axel, at home.”
Her complications were ‘extremely rare’ ones

“Tragically, shortly after, an unforeseen and extremely rare complication arose and she passed after being transferred to hospital,” Hatfield went on.
“Hospital staff were amazing and did the utmost to help, but ultimately nothing could be done despite their best efforts.”
The loving husband expressed his grief

Hatfield continued, “I knew Stace for 9 amazing years, she was the light of my life and the reason I got up in the morning.”
“Words can’t do justice to how devastating this is for myself and everyone that knew and loved her. She was my lighthouse in the storm and the world is less bright without her in it.”
His statement was heartbreaking

“As her husband, i couldn’t ask for a better partner. She was the most beautiful, loving, caring, hardworking, disciplined, intelligent and trustworthy human being I’ve ever known. She made me the man I am today and everything i have in life is all thanks to her,” Hatfield said.
He thanked people for their messages

“The happiest day of my life was getting to marry her, my best friend, on a white sand beach in the Maldives,” the husband added.
He concluded his message by thanking people who reached out and offered their condolences.
The father set up a GoFundMe
Hatfield didn’t go into further detail about her complications, but added that ‘if there’s one thing that I can try and reconcile in this horrible time is that her last moments on earth were the happiest i’ve ever seen her.’
He also set up a GoFundMe page to help support him and their son Axel in the future.
