One little girl’s brush with the Tooth Fairy is doing the opposite of making people smile.
The mother shared the note that her daughter wrote to the Tooth Fairy, which demands that she wants $25 for her tooth or else she “will be mad.”
Instead of finding this cute, the little girl’s note has divided the internet , with many calling her “bratty” and a “ Karen in training .”
Did you know that the average kid is not getting $4.70 per tooth from the Tooth Fairy?

Now, this may not sound like a lot to some, but bare in mind that the average was $1.30 in 1998. That’s quite the jump!
National surveys by Delta Dental have found that the number has increased exponentially over the years.

They surveyed 1,000 parents to determine that kids are now getting approx. $4.71 cents under their pillow in 2021. That number has increased to $5.36 in 2022 .
Location, location, location — it matters when you’re an adult, and when you’re a kid.

That’s because they found that some kids get more money from the Tooth Fairy, depending on where they live.
For instance, those in the Northeast United States received, on average, $5.72 per tooth in 2021.
Those living in the Midwest might be weeping into their pillows, as they only earn around $3.66.

On the bright side, that’s enough to buy them a McDonald’s cone! Or, they could take that money and invest it, huh?! Okay, probably not.
The Tooth Fairy even weighed in on why kids are earning so much more money these days.

“Kids need to be brushing and taking care of their teeth,” they said, according to Delta Dental.
“I tend to pay more for healthy teeth so let’s keep brushing those teeth for two minutes two times a day, and don’t forget to floss!”
With the average being $5.36 per tooth, can you imagine getting $25 instead?

Well, that’s exactly what one little girl was hoping for when her baby tooth fell. Her mother shared the note she left for the “Tooth Fairy,” which quickly went viral.
The post showed a picture of “Addy’s tooth” in a ziplock bag, along with a ~~ransom~~ note.

“Dear mom, dad/tooth fairy. Can I please have 25$ (£20)? Want more money than last time or else I will be mad,” the letter wrote.
While some found the letter cute, many Redditors didn’t like the little girl’s “bratty” tone.

“Karen in training,” one Redditor branded her. “She’s gonna want to speak to the tooth-fairy’s supervisor, Santa Claus.” Another joked that even teeth are subject to inflation.
Many believe that the little girl is in for a rude awakening.

“Boy she’s gonna be really pissed when she goes to the dentist and they start pulling teeth and charging her for taking them,” a Redditor wrote.
One parent said that their son thought the three dollars they gave him was a lot.
Many shared their own stories of the Tooth Fairy.

“As a kid, I told my mom I lost a tooth when I didn’t. I had a deer molar that my uncle gave me and I put that under my pillow. The next morning I woke up to a very pissed off note from the Tooth Fairy. More or less said she was too busy to deal with this [expletive] and I shouldn’t dick her around. I was terrified of the tooth Fairy after that. Haha,” the Redditor shared.
“My mom used to give me a 1 dollar bill with shimmery eyeshadow rubbed into it,” another wrote.

Aw, fairy magic! For the most part, though, many Redditors agreed that their child would be getting nothing if they left “that disrespectful, demanding note.”
Better luck next time, kid!
