Do you know how they say that not everybody is created equal? That’s definitely true. And you can see that when you go shopping for clothing . Many brands these days do vanity sizing, and it’s pretty hard to find the right outfits.
That’s why this one TikToker is on a mission to show her curvy audience that it doesn’t matter what size you are — you can still enjoy fashion. Let’s find out more about her. Shall we?
Kristina Zias often shares her clothing hauls with her TikTok audience.
But, she has an interesting take on it. Many of her videos show her wearing the same outfit as her friend who is totally different size. To put it in perspective, Kristina is a size XL/XXL, and her friend is usually a model’s size XS.
Here’s why she does it.
The idea behind it is to show how the various sizes fit on different bodies and that no matter what size you are — you can still find fashionable outfits. So let’s take a look at a few of these comparison photos.
How about this outfit?
Oh my goodness! I think it looks adorable whether you’re wearing a size XS or XL, no? This is the type of dress I would totally get. I love everything about it, the color and the style. Do you agree with my assessment here?
Whoa! Look at these dresses here.
I don’t know about you, but I think they both look stunning. It’s pretty amazing to see the same exact dress on two very different bodies. So if you XL ladies didn’t feel confident wearing something like this, here’s proof that you can do it, too.
And these dresses, too.
Wow! That stunning orange color just pops. Am I right? I have to admit I used to wear dresses just like that back in the ’90s, ha, ha. So perhaps they are a bit of an outdated style, but it definitely works on two different bodies no matter what.
Loving this casual look here.
Okay, so even though the pants from this sweatsuit fit slightly differently, they still look good on both ladies. The length might be a bit short on the XL version, but Kristina can still pull this off, no? Who wouldn’t be comfortable wearing this look?
Check out this amazing vacay outfit.
Let me tell you, this outfit here screams vacation to me. And now that I see it, I can’t wait to get away myself, hee-hee. This is certainly proof that whether you are an XL or XS, you can still rock something as amazing as this. Do you agree with me? Both ladies look absolutely gorgeous here.
And here’s another super flattering dress.
It’s pretty similar to the one above but just as flattering. Wouldn’t you say? You can pull this stunning look off whether you are an XL or XS, no problem. I love how both ladies are wearing it. And this color is so pretty too, no?
Now, let’s look at a few shopping fails these ladies encountered.
Here’s a Zara haul that didn’t exactly turn out right for Kristina, who tried on a size XL. Clearly, she couldn’t even zip up in this dress. That’s pretty unfortunate, huh? It’s such a cute dress, but the size definitely didn’t translate well in this case.
Here’s another Zara fail.
Kristina tried very hard to fit into these faux leather pants, but alas it wasn’t meant to be, huh? Oh, that’s too bad. People online chimed in and said that Zara’s sizes are European, and that’s why the XL fits more like an L and the same with the XS, which fits like an S.
Come on, Zara! What’s going on?
The ladies didn’t fare too well with this Zara outfit either. I honestly don’t know if it looks good on any of them. What do you think? The XL doesn’t cover the chest area, and the XS looks a bit saggy and unflattering to me. Overall, I’m not impressed with this outfit here.
I desperately wanted to like this bustier.
It looks okay on a body that needs a size XS, but when it comes to XL, it’s not exactly the best fit, huh? What do you think of that? If it were me, I would skip this outfit altogether and look for something that fits much better.
Now, what’s going on here?
What’s up with this XL dress? It doesn’t even cover the entire body. Somebody really didn’t do their homework here. Don’t you think? I wouldn’t even wear this as a nightgown, much less a Christmas party dress. That would be a pass for me.
Okay, let’s move on to better-fitting outfits.
You know what? I would never have thought of wearing a top like that, but now that I see it, I really love it. I think it looks gorgeous on both ladies here. And I would definitely buy it myself, that’s for sure.
Oh my goodness!
Strike a pose, ladies, hee-hee. I love Kristina’s expression here. I think it says it all. And what she’s saying is that she’s totally rocking this look. I love how romantic this peek-a-boo sweater looks on both ladies. This is definitely a gorgeous Valentine’s Day contender.
Speaking of outfits that rock…
I think this is one of my favorite looks so far. The combination of these beige, faux leather pants and this cap sleeve top is top-notch. I hope you agree with me on that. I have to admit, I would totally go out and get this look myself.
Here are the same pants styled more casual.
What a fun look, huh? Not only do the leather pants look so good here, but I love that the ladies added a pretty shacket, too. This is another super cute style that looks good no matter what size you are.
And last but definitely not least, I bring you this look.
Isn’t this so stylish, huh? Again, the ladies paired the same beige faux leather pants with this gorgeous lilac cropped sweater. For some reason, the color combination works really well. And the whole outfit looks great on a size XL or XS.
What did I tell you?
It doesn’t really matter what size you are — you can still look fashionable AF. These two ladies of different sizes are living proof of that. And I don’t know about you, but I’m happy to see that. I hope all brands recognize that they should accommodate all sizes and make the outfits fit people regardless of size. Do you hear that, Zara?
