People really feel some type of way about Crocs. No matter how much singer Post Malone wants to try and make them a thing, people just refuse to make them a thing.
When Nike unveiled the new slingback version of their Air Force 1 VTF sneakers, people noticed they looked very familiar, almost too familiar, and they are not impressed.
These are Nike’s latest update to their famed Air Force 1 sneakers.
The $90 all-black sneaker/sandal hybrid look like their iconic Air Force 1 and features gold stitching around the iconic check mark emblem.
They’re pretty fun from the front, but an absolute wild party in the back.
But, uh, people quickly noticed these cool kicks resembled a rather familiar and contested shoe.
People noticed that Nike’s shoes looked like Crocs.
Even rapper Ja Rule wasn’t impressed, tweeting , “*** are THEEESE???…@nike recall these sh**s…”
This person even accused Nike of pulling a Plankton from ‘Spongebob Squarepants’! Ouch!
The good news is that these shoes are for their kids’ shoe line and aren’t made for adults…yet.
