Do you know who’s creepy and kooky? Mysterious and spooky? All together ooky? That’s right, it’s The Addams Family , and they’re set to be returning to our screens very soon!
Coming this fall is an all-new Addams Family series called Wednesday which focuses on how Morticia and Gomez’s daughter is handling growing up. We just got a first look at the new cast, and we’re here to share it with you!
We’re finally getting our first look at the latest Addams Family reboot!

Just in time for the Halloween season!
Though this is sort of a reboot of a reboot, as the original TV series aired in the ’60s and the iconic movies came out during the ’90s, but we’re still stoked nonetheless.
This time it’s a Netflix series called ‘Wednesday’.

As expected, it focuses on the Addams’ daughter of the same name who is now a teenager. The show follows how she navigates both her feelings and familial relationships at this age.
Now come on, let’s look at this cast reveal via Vanity Fair !
The lineup looks incredible.

Up first we have the stellar Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia, Luis Guzmán as Gomez, Isaac Ordonez as brother Pugsley, and Jenna Ortega as the titular Wednesday.
They look stunning, with inspirations clearly drawing from the original Addams Family comic by Charles Addams rather than the later films.
The show’s creators, Miles Millar and Alfred Gough, could not be more thrilled.

They even have the legendary Tim Burton as an executive producer and director on the show.
Burton had originally been offered a spot on the 1991 Addams Family film, but passed on it. Millar and Gough expected him to say no again when pitched Wednesday , but to their surprise, he wanted on board.
“The ambition of the show was to make it an eight-hour Tim Burton movie,” Millar said.

That sounds like the perfect thing to binge come this October, an incredible blend of so many Halloweeny elements that it feels like a dream come true!
Wednesday is set to release this fall on Netflix.
