Charlie Kirk’s wife, Erika Kirk, has made a new announcement regarding her late husband’s work in a rare appearance on his podcast, The Charlie Kirk Show.
She wants to keep his legacy alive
The 36-year-old wife has been focused on spreading her late husband’s message after he was killed while speaking at an event at Utah Valley University on September 10.
The event was organized by his company, Turning Point USA.
A suspect has since been found
Since Kirk’s death, authorities have detained a suspect: 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, whose family members identified before the FBI caught him.
Robinson has since been charged with seven counts, including aggravated murder.
A public memorial was held for Kirk
A public memorial was held in Arizona on Sunday, September 21 to remember Kirk, which over 60,000 people attended.
The event saw many speakers, including President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance as well as Erika herself, who was then announced the new CEO of Turning Point USA.
She spoke on her husband’s podcast
Now, in a rare appearance on Kirk’s podcast, The Charlie Kirk Show, Erika made an announcement on how the activities her husband started would proceed.
Speaking on the episode on Friday, September 26, Erika shared her plans for the future of Charlie’s podcast.
There would be a rotation
Erika revealed that the show will now take a new format where there would be a rotation of hosts and emcees.
She told viewers, “The Charlie Kirk Show is not going anywhere,” stressing her determination to continue Charlie’s work.
Erika emphasized her plans
She said, “My husband’s voice will live on. The show will go on. We will have rotating hosts, rotating casts, rotating people coming on.”
“It is going to be continually the north star of the conservative movement, of the voice of the youth, of the voice of the base, and that will not end.”
She also shared the tour would proceed
Erika further shared that the American Comeback Tour, which Kirk murdered on, would continue on college campuses.
The wife added that Turning Point USA will continue to move ‘full steam ahead’ faster than she ‘could ever dream of.’
She doesn’t want to be ‘silenced’
“We’ll never be silenced,” Kirk said. “That’s why continuing his platform in a beautiful, honorable way will reinforce that he will never be silenced. My husband’s voice will go on.”
This comes five days after she made an emotional speech at her husband’s memorial, where she shared his life and passions.
