The FBI have shared texts that were allegedly sent by Tyler Robinson, who is suspected to have killed Charlie Kirk.
He was found in less than 2 days
Authorities found Robinson, a 22-year-old Utah native, less than 48 hours after the incident of Charlie Kirk’s murder.
It’s said that his family turned him in after identifying him in the images released by the FBI in an appeal to find him.
He has reportedly not been cooperating
Utah Governor Spencer Cox said that Robinson has not been cooperating with law enforcement since his arrest.
The FBI have been informing the public on bits of information regarding the ongoing investigation into the 22-year-old.
They shared information about DNA found
Part of the information shared by the FBI included DNA found at the crime scene which matched Robinson’s.
FBI director Kash Patel told Fox News Channel that the DNA was found on a screwdriver recovered from the rooftop where the shot was fired.
Patel said Robinson also sent disturbing texts

The FBI director also shared that Robinson allegedly sent some disturbing texts to his friends prior to the incident, seemingly admitting that he did it.
The Washington Post reported that the key suspect wrote in a Discord chat, “Hey guys, I have bad news for you all. It was me at UVU yesterday. I’m sorry for all of this.”
He allegedly said he’d turn himself in
Robinson’s messages allegedly continued, “I’m surrendering through a sheriff friend in a few moments. Thanks for all the good times and laughs, you’ve all been so amazing, thank you all for everything.”
Robinson is said to have been arrested two hours after sending those texts.
FBI are investigating a possible ‘network’
This comes as the FBI revealed they’re investigating whether Robinson might have been part of an ‘extended network’.
FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino told Fox News, “We’ll also be dropping a lot of paper, a lot of subpoenas out there, to take a look to see if there was any extended network.”
It’s said there were ‘multiple signs’
FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino added that there were ‘multiple warning signs’ exhibited by Robinson before the shooting.
The agency said it wants to figure out if the killing of Charlie Kirk was ‘part of a larger effort’.
