There’s no celebrity out there like Dolly Parton — not one with the talent, the range, the impact, the power, and the kindness all combined into one adorable, funny, sassy package. You might think I’m overselling Dolly a little bit here, but I promise you, by the time you’re done reading, you’ll be worshipping at the church of Dolly just like me, especially after she saved a young co-star from a car accident on the set of her newest movie!

From running her Imagination Library with the goal of eliminating childhood illiteracy by providing every child who needs one a book a month their entire childhood to her impressive charitable donations every year, it’s clear Dolly’s got a big heart with enough room for everyone in it!
I mean, you could tell that just by looking at her.
Even in the disaster of a year that 2020 has been, Dolly has made a huge impact.
In April, Dolly created the Dolly Parton COVID-19 Research Fund, where she put $1 million towards coronavirus vaccine research.
It made a tangible difference — the Moderna vaccine was partially funded by that very research fund, which means some of us will owe our future immunity to Dolly herself!
Now, Talia Hill, a 9-year-old who appeared in Dolly’s *Christmas On The Square* film, has come forward with another amazing Dolly story.
Talia revealed that while filming the movie, she had wandered off and accidentally found herself in the path of a car headed in her direction — until she felt someone pull her back out of the way!
“I looked up and it was Dolly Parton,” Talia revealed. ” I was like, surprised, I was like [gasp].”
“And she’s like, ‘Well, I am an angel, you know,'” Talia said.
“Cause she plays an angel in the movie. And I was in shock. She hugged me and shook me and said, ‘I saved your life!'” Talia went on.
What an amazing story — if I could pick anyone to be my guardian angel, I’d pick Dolly too!
“When Dolly walked in she smelled like heaven,” Talia also added.
“She greeted everyone even if you were a trashcan person. It was such a great feeling.”
I always knew Dolly was as great in real life as I thought she was and now I know the truth!
