Tattoos are one of those things that are a personal decision, and you don’t really have to justify to anyone if you don’t want to.
But when you’re a celeb, people can’t help but give their two cents, and that’s what happened for Busy Philipps.
I just have to say that I am obsessed with Busy Philipps.
She rose to fame in Freaks and Geeks , and we fell in love with her all over again in Cougar Town .
Throughout the years, she’s managed to stay relevant, which is NOT an easy feat in Hollywood.
Trust me, I’ve tried .
She’s currently the host and executive producer of “Busy Tonight”.
The show has featured some pretty major stars so far. If you haven’t had a chance to check it out, you should do that ASAP!
Anyway, Busy recently showed off her latest tattoo, which happened to feature the F word.
Accompanied by a woman skating away.
Honestly, it’s pretty badass.
The tattoo design was actually featured in one of the chapters from Busy’s book “This Will Only Hurt A Little.”
The illustration was done by her friend Geoff McFetridge and tattoo’d by artist Dre Li.
But some parents weren’t as thrilled with the concept.
They wondered how she’ll explain the tattoo to her young children, Birdie and Cricket, who are 11 and 6-years-old.
And I mean, sure, it’s a fair question.
Not everybody introduces swear words to their children at such a young age.
It seems as though Busy isn’t planning on hiding the tattoo from her kids any time soon.
When you think about it, it is a pretty strong message to send young girls.
Besides, I’m sure Busy’s kids are used to her total girl power-ness.
I mean, have you seen anything Busy does?
She’s constantly surrounding herself with smart, educated and empowered women.
I think this tattoo is a great educational tool to share with her girls when they’re old enough to inquire about it.
It seems like Busy’s girls are super well adjusted and normal.
Not to mention totally adorable.
It’s also literally *no ones* business what Busy puts on her body, or what she teaches her daughters about curse words.
Did everyone forget it was 2019 or?
There’s also way worse tattoo’s she can get.
Remember Ben Affleck’s disgusting back tattoo?
So yeah, is getting tattoos with the F-bomb a bold move? Maybe. But do we hate it? Absolutely not.
