Hollywood stars Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner celebrated Thanksgiving together this year. They reunited to volunteer for a charity event with their kids.
With three children shared between them: Violet, 18 years old, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, who is only 12 years old, the family reunited to give back to their community this year for Thanksgiving day.

This heartwarming reunion comes after Affleck’s recent split from the singer and actress Jennifer Lopez.
Instead, Affleck spent Thanksgiving with his ex-wife, Garner, and their three children, as the two have frequently been seen co-parenting their children while remaining friendly.
Affleck and Garner volunteered for a charity
The split-up Hollywood stars were seen this Thanksgiving sporting the holiday spirit as they gave back to their community as a family by volunteering at a big charity event organized by the Los Angeles homeless program services charity Midnight Mission.
The two enjoyed participating in the event
Affleck and Garner helped serve food to 2,000 homeless and near-homeless individuals at the seasonal charity event.
The stars were seen smiling as they gave back to the people of Los Angeles while teaching their children the importance of volunteering.
Affleck and Garner were dressed casually
The Gone Girl actor was seen wearing a dark, long-sleeved shirt with his scruffy beard and a clean-shaven head.
The 13 Going on 30 star wore a casual deep blue sweater and had her hair in a loose, pulled-back style.
The two also wore aprons for the event
As the event was for the Los Angeles homeless program services, the actors wore matching aprons over their outfits, which read, “I love the Midnight Mission.”
The two were in high spirits as they served the food and conversed with people attending the event.
J. Lo spent Thanksgiving differently
On the other hand, the singer and actress Jennifer Lopez, who is Affleck’s most recent ex-wife, had lunch with friends before the holiday.
She looked as stylish as ever, wearing high-waisted blue jeans and a white button-up shirt. Her hair was flowing.
Affleck and J. Lo separated in August
Lopez who starred in The Wedding Planner filed for a divorce from Affleck in August of 2024 which legally also stated that they had effectively been separated since April of the same year.
There had been rumors around their marriage which were amplified after Affleck moved out of their home.
A source spoke about the divorce
Speaking with People magazine about the singer’s divorce from the Good Will Hunting actor, a source revealed, “This has been one of the hardest years for Jennifer. She didn’t want to file for divorce. She just had no choice. Nothing was going to change with Ben.”
The star is now taking a break from dating
A source disclosed that J. Lo has taken a solo break, saying, “She decided to do some introspection – she says four divorces will do that. Get ready for an all-new J. Lo – she wants to start a new chapter.”
Before adding, “She’s determined to turn all this heartbreak into her superpower, to take ownership of any self-destruction and make changes.”
Affleck and J. Lo recently worked together
The ex-couples recently collaborated on the movie Unstoppable, which Affleck has reflected positively on.
The actor told Entertainment Tonight, “Unstoppable is a very different movie than this, but in a way it’s similarly rooted in the passion of really talented artists.”
