There are some things in life that never fail to leave you with a smile on your face — and the most recent example of such things is Wrinkle the Duck running the New York Marathon in her little duck boots.
Wrinkle’s social media channels, ran understandably by her owners as she’s very busy, are a hotbed of amazing duck-related content which has made her something of an internet celebrity .

After having been watched over three million times on TikTok alone, the video of Wrinkle waddling her way through the New York Marathon has become something of a viral hit.
People were particularly enamoured with Wrinkle’s custom-made boots!
Wrinkle’s owners makes her little shoes themselves, and have since been inundated with requests from fellow duck owners.
The video of Wrinkle’s marathon attempt, which you can see below, sees her being cheered on by adoring fans from the sidelines as she razzes her way along the course.
When the video was uploaded to YouTube, her owners poetically captioned the video: “Wrinkle the duck is more than just a beautiful pekin duck, she is a full grown adult human child. She is fast. She is speed. She is zoom. She is wrinkle.”
Wrinkles is not only a marathon runner, but also an official emotional support animal.
Wrinkle’s owners love to share her escapades across social media, but the video of her running the New York marathon has garnered her many new fans!
One new fan wrote on TikTok that seeing Wrinkle running had helped them smile when they were ‘deeply depressed,’ to which Wrinkles’ account lovingly responded:
“As an official emotional support duck, hearing this makes me feel like I’m doing my job well.”
Wrinkle may also be running with a sponsorship from Adidas before too long.
In response to Wrinkle’s video, Adidas wrote, “Sending this to our design team to petition for a new duck shoe collection.”
Since getting a massive influx of orders for duck shoes, Wrinkle’s owners did respond to Adidas that they were looking for “a good sponsor.”
Here’s hoping that Wrinkle the duck is a long way from retiring from the marathon running game.
With this one single video, Wrinkle has done an incredible job of demonstrating her skills as an emotional support animal! And, once she has gotten over the exhaustion of running a marathon, it’ll only be a matter of time before she is warming the internet’s hears in other quack-ing ways…
