As many of you are probably already aware of, Monday was April Fool’s Day.
Celebs and regular citizens alike were busting out their best and worst practical jokes on their friends and family — and truth be told, not all pranks are tasteful — take Justin Bieber’s fake pregnancy prank, for example.
But little did we know, two of three of Kim Kardashian’s children were plotting a prank of their own.
Kim revealed to ELLE that her two eldest children, North and her younger brother, Saint are coming up to an age where they are actually starting to bond.

North and Saint are “starting to get closer now that [North] can include him in her jokes,” Kim said .
And on April Fool’s Day, North roped Saint into her most elaborate prank yet.

“She took ketchup into my bathroom, and she begged me to let her spread it on me, and on the bathroom, as if it was like a bad scary movie. Then she asked me to lie down,” Kim explained .
“I thought she was just playing, maybe that she was going to say I was hurt,” Kim said, adding:

“No, she taught Saint how to fake cry — she showed him how to do it!”
“And then she told him to scream, ‘Mommy’s dead!,'” Kim went on.

For whatever reason, Kim decided to play along with this prank and see who they could trick into thinking she was actually dead.
Turns out, the person the kids were trying to fool was their dad, Kanye West.

And let’s just say, he was not impressed — these kiddos may have crossed the line this time.
Kanye explained to this kids that this was not funny, and not something that should be joked about.

“Kanye ran upstairs and he was like, ‘Kids, this is not funny. This is not a good prank.’ I completely understand and I agree,” Kim said .
Although Kim agreed that the prank may have been inappropriate, she was glad that North and Saint found something to work together on.

“It did make me a little impressed that they planned something together, and they were getting along and having fun as a team,” she said .
Some fans think the prank North and Saint pulled on their parents was problematic.
This fan pointed out that a kindergartener shouldn’t know how to pull a “sick” prank like that unless she was coached.
Others find it concerning that Kim didn’t see this prank as a red flag.
But instead, was simply glad her kids were spending time together and bonding.
This person pointed out that just three years ago Kim was held at gunpoint and robbed.
Suggesting that Kim must be over that incident if she was willing to play along with such a morbid prank.
This user thinks that North needs to see a therapist.
“No 5 year old should be coming with a prank of that nature,” they wrote. “Something is wrong here”.
Another fan pointed out that Kanye West suffers from mental illness, making this prank especially uncool.

Some even have reason to believe the disruption of Kanye’s mental health was triggered by the death of his mother .
You can see how that theory and the prank his kids played on him might clash, amirite?
Some fans think that everyone is overreacting and that this is just something that kids do.

“I did this same [expletive] with my sister when I was little,” they wrote. “Just kids doing kid [expletive]”.
While they do seem to be getting along pretty well, Kim explained that North is very excited to have another little brother so that Saint will have somebody else to bond with.

”‘Mom … we just need to have another baby brother so that Saint can just leave me alone,'” Kim explained what North told her , adding “so the girls can be on this side of the house and the boys can be on that side of the house.'”
The fact that these two very young children managed to pull off a prank like this is impressive and also kinda scary?
I mean, the dedication, commitment to the role, the planning, North teaching Saint how to “fake cry” — it’s all so savage.
Do you think Kim and Kanye should be worried that their kids took their prank too far? Or was this just kids being kids?
