It’s hard to believe it’s been almost 13 years since the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, passed away. In the years following his death, fans have watched as his children have grown up and carried on his legacy.
Now, fans can hardly believe that Michael’s eldest children, Prince and Paris Jackson, are full-grown adults who were recently spotted at the 2022 Tony Awards in one of their few rare appearances.
Michael Jackson’s children have managed to keep a relatively low profile since the death of their father in June 2009.
As fans of MJ know, his children’s privacy was of the utmost importance to him.
The “Thriller” singer was a father of three children — son Prince, 25, daughter Paris, 24, and son Bigi Jackson, formerly known as Blanket, 20.
In the years following Michael’s death, Prince and Paris will make public appearances every now and again, most often to honor their late father.

Michael’s two eldest children most recently attended the Tony Awards on Sunday night to introduce a performance from MJ: The Musical.
MJ: The Musical was nominated for 10 Tony Awards including Best Musical.
“A lot of people seem to think our dad Michael Jackson changed popular music forever,” Prince said to the attentive crowd as he stood on stage beside his sister. “And who are we to disagree?”
“But what people may not know is he loved musicals, on film and on the stage.”
“That’s why we are so incredibly honored to introduce the night’s first nominee for best musical, ‘MJ,’ which, using many of his iconic hits, looks at the complexities and brilliance of our father’s process.”
“This number showcases that creative process, as he builds a dance routine step by unforgettable step to one of his best love hits,” Paris added.
Viewers both in person and at home got to witness a jaw-dropping performance from Broadway newcomer Myles Frost, who won Best Actor in a Musical for his on-stage depiction of the King of Pop.
Fans took to social media to collectively ask ourselves WHEN and HOW Paris and Prince got so old.
I’m so glad to see they’re continuing their father’s legacy and working together to keep his memory alive.
Congrats to all those involved in MJ: The Musical.
