The internet had its collective mind blown when Emily Osment posted a picture of she and her brother, Haley Joel.

So, shockingly, Emily and Haley Joel have been siblings for a while now.
One might even say they’ve been related…their entire lives.
I know .
In all seriousness, here’s the quick tea: Haley Joel is older, at 31, while Emily is the younger sibling at age 27.
They both got started as child actors.
Obviously, Haley Joel skyrocketed to fame after the release of The Sixth Sense .
He became a long-lasting meme with the line, “I see dead people.”
Before that, though, he played Forrest Gump’s son in Forrest Gump .
Emily’s big break came via Disney.
Like many child stars, Emily had a few minor roles before hitting it big at the house of mouse.
She starred alongside Miley Cyrus in Hannah Montana , where she played Miley’s best friend, Lilly.
Both of them stayed in Hollywood.
Haley Joel went on to do films like AI: Artifical Intelligence , Enterouge , and the Netflix film Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile .
Oh, also, he guest-starred in the new season of The X-Files . Man, I love that show.
Emily took on music.
She still acts, of course, but a big part of her career also centers on music!
Her music alias is Bluebird, and she released two singles this year: “Sailor,” and “Good Girl.”
They hang out all the time.
Their Instagrams are full of pictures of each other, which makes everyone’s surprise over them being related even funnier.
Haley Joel flew out over the Labor Day weekend to surprise Emily while she attended the US Open!
That’s when the reactions poured in.
She posted a ton of pictures from the weekend, but the one that caught everyone’s attention was clearly the one with her brother.

It’s the freakin’ Golden Globes. They seriously went to the Golden Globes together, and the comments under this picture were still the same! No one knew they were related!
