Salma Hayek has been dishing deets on the steamiest scenes from her appearance in the latest Magic Mike movie. The 56-year-old actress continues to make headlines for costarring with actor Channing Tatum in the third installment of the popular movie franchise. Shortly before the holidays, Salma spoke out about filming with the ex to Jenna Dewan – Channing plays a male stripper, and the trailer has seen things get hot had heavy in a scene that involved a lap dance. Salma has said that filming the scene was “physically challenging.”
A Challenge To Film
Of shooting the lap dance scene with 42-year-old Tatum, Hayek said, “It’s very physically challenging,” also telling Entertainment Tonight , “My goodness. You just wait to see. It’s just complicated.” That said, she also said that it brought a “magical moment” that taught her more about who she is. The Mexican-born actress, known for roles including Frida and The Eternals , also spoke of playing a “strong woman.” In fact, it looks like she had fun “bossing” around all the guys on set while going Girl Power.

Salma told Antonio Banderas about playing the “strong” woman.
“You know what was my day going into the office? I would just sit around and watch, like, 12 men, semi-naked dancing and doing pirouettes. And I got to boss them around,” the mom of one continued. Salma’s role in Magic Mike 3 sees her replacing actress Thandiwe Newton, who made the “difficult decision” to leave the franchise and stepped away from the movie. Newton stated that she had to deal with “family” issues.
