Gwyneth Paltrow may be all about wellness now, but she was def a wild child in the ‘90s!
The 50-year-old actress and lifestyle expert made an appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden last Monday, and she had some crazy stories to tell about her life as a young Hollywood superstar.
She Was a ’90s Icon

Paltrow was one of the industry’s top actresses in the 1990s and won Best Actress at the Oscars in 1999 for Shakespeare in Love . When Corden asked her and fellow guest Hilary Swank what it was like being so famous back then, the wellness mogul gave a very surprising answer.
She Lived The Wild Life

“It was great — I mean talk about doing cocaine and not getting caught!” she replied.
There Were No Camera Phones To Capture Evidence
Paltrow continued, “You could just be at a bar having fun, dance on the table.”
When Corden noted that there were no camera phones back then, she added, “Especially in New York, interestingly enough, there were no paparazzi.”
‘Go Home With Some Rando’

Apparently, there was a lot more going on after she stepped out of the bar. “You could stumble out of a bar and go home with some rando and no one would know,” she said as the audience laughed.
Cocaine Wasn’t The Only Drug She Dabbled In

This wasn’t the first time Paltrow opened up about past drug use. Back in 2015, she admitted to Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live that the hardest drug she’d ever taken was ecstasy.
She Also Reminisced About Being Pregnant

On a lighter note, the Iron Man actress also talked to Corden about pregnancy matters, since Swank is currently expecting twins.
She Had Very Specific Food Cravings

The talk show host asked them both whether they had unusual cravings during their pregnancy, and Paltrow said, “I wanted apples, yogurt, Swiss cheese, and Baskin-Robbins Jamoca Almond Fudge ice cream. That’s all I wanted.”
She’s Mom To Two Kids
The Emma star has two children with ex-husband Chris Martin: a daughter named Apple, 18, and a son named Moses, 16. She’s now married to television writer and producer, Brad Falchuk.
She Has A New Audible Series
Paltrow is also the founder of lifestyle brand Goop. She appeared on The Late Late Show to talk about her new four-part Audible series, The Goop Pursuit , and revealed that the first part would be about pleasure – sexual and otherwise.
