When it comes to the blended family of star actor Ben Affleck, it is safe to say that everything seems to be going on just well. The actor was recently spotted hanging out with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner’s boyfriend and the men seemed to be brewing a bromance.
An Amicable Meet Up
On Monday, January 30, eagle-eyed fans spotted Affleck outside Garner’s California home where he seemed to be waiting to be let in. A few minutes later, his ex-wife and her boyfriend, John Miller arrived and the man exchanged smiles and a few words right outside the house. While Garner parked her car, the Batman star and Miller seamlessly shared small talk as they shook hands. Garner would later catch up with them as they all went indoors.

Per Page Six , one week before this friendly meet-up, the Alias actress joined Affleck and his wife, Jennifer Lopez for their daughter Seraphina’s musical performance. The outing marked Garner and Affleck’s first public outing since he tied the knot with Lopez in July 2022.
A Rumored Animosity
Prior to these developments, there have been speculations that Garner and Lopez did not get along. However, an insider stated that when the pair became man and wife, Garner was “thrilled to get rid of her firth child (Affleck).”

Last November, the Maid In Manhattan star joined Vogue in an interview where she didn’t hold back on how she and the other adults manage their blended family. She described Garner as an “amazing co-parent” adding that she and Affleck “really work well together.” She explained that despite the fact that they all lived in California, the kids were going through a gradual transition regarding their family arrangement.

Still speaking with the publication, the Into You crooner shared her hopes for her blended family. Lopez stated, “What I hope to cultivate with our family is that his kids have a new ally in me and my kids have a new ally in him, someone who really loves and cares about them…” The 53-year-old continued that she wanted a situation where the adults could have a different perspective of things, and help her see things that she couldn’t see when she was emotionally tied to her kids.

Lopez and Affleck’s love story is one known throughout Hollywood for its rom-com storyline. Before they got back together, he was with Garner, Lindsay Shookus, and Ana de Armas. Lopez was married to Marc Anthony, Cris Judd, Ojani Noa, and engaged to Alex Rodriguez.
Garner and Miller have been dating on and off since 2018. Their relationship started shortly after she finalized her divorce from Affleck. They broke up before the COVID-19 pandemic but came back stronger by May in 2021.
