Cody Longo , best known for his role as Nicholas “Nikki” Alamain in “Day of Lives,” has passed away at 34, according to TMZ .
A family member revealed to TMZ that Cody’s body was discovered on Wednesday at a house in Austin, Texas.

According to the outlet, Longo’s wife, Stephanie, worked at a nearby dance studio when she noticed she couldn’t reach Longo. She reportedly felt uneasy and asked the police to check on him.

When Longo didn’t answer the door when the police arrived at the house, they kicked it down and discovered Longo dead in bed.
He Battled Alcoholism
According to the family member, Cody battled alcoholism for years before entering rehab over the summer.
