Gwen and country singer husband Blake Shelton have proven hugely popular as the first husband and wife couple to act as judges on The Voice. Things are set to change, though, now that Blake has confirmed he will be leaving the series.
Blake Wants ‘More Time’
In a reveal over her husband’s departure, Gwen told Extra:
“I think he just wants more time. I don’t know if people realize, if he’s doing two seasons a year, in between that he’s touring. So he actually has two teams at the same time at a certain point. So they overlap. It’s a lot of brain power.”
