Discovering Bobsledding
The 35-year-old fell in love with bobsledding on a work trip to Canada and later represented Australia in the North American Cup.
He also joined the Convicts, Australia’s first gay rugby team that plays in the Sydney Suburban Rugby Union championship, and the Kings Cross Steelers in London.
Bobsled Comeback
In 2021, the athlete announced he was returning to bobsled with a dream of participating in the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing.

Unfortunately, the star suffered a bicep injury during training which cut his journey short as he had to fly down to Australia for treatment, forcing him into early retirement.

Dunn was also nominated for the Australian LGBTI Awards Sports Personality of the Year in 2018 and 2019. He was also popular in his community for his community efforts especially on LGBTIAQ+ advocacy and works in the arts.

Dunn used his voice to address former Wallaby Israel Folau’s comment that all gay people were going to hell while encouraging an end to homophobia in Rugby.
