In Hollywood, there are obvious pressures to look a certain way — it just sorta comes with the territory, unfortunately.
But these celebs are flaunting their natural beauty and refusing to have any “work” done.

When Lea was 13, she was urged to get a nose job by her then-manager. But instead of taking the advice, she fired her.
“She’s like, ‘How old are you?’ I was like, ’13,'” she said . “She’s like, ‘Great, as soon as you turn 15, it’s time for a nose job.’ We’re like, ‘OK, we’re out of here.’ Obviously, I didn’t get it done. And wherever she is, I mean, she can go [expletive] herself.”
Julia Roberts.
Julia revealed that she tried Botox once and realized it wasn’t everything it was talked up to be.
“I tried the Botox one time and was permanently surprised for a couple months,” she said . “And it was not a cute look for me.”
“My feeling is, I have three children who should know what emotion I’m feeling at the exact moment I’m feeling it. Like, that is critical.”
Chloë Grace Moretz.
Chloë revealed that when she was 16, she was pressured to get breast implants when silicone bra inserts were left in her changing room.
“I was, like: where did these come from?,” she said . Those little things were insidious. Even though you can brush them off, you still internalize them. They make you question yourself and think: well, maybe I am unhappy with the size of my breasts.”
Priyanka Chopra.
“Before I became an actor, I met a producer about the possibility of acting. I was a beauty pageant winner at the time, Miss World. And he said that everything was wrong about me. He said my nose was not proportionate, the shape of my body was not proportionate,” Priyanka explained .
“Yes, this is my original nose. There is such a false perception about what women should look like. My body fluctuates, and I’m fine with it.”
Nelly Furtado.
Nelly explained that she once worked with a producer that encouraged her to get a boob job. Although she never went through with it, she said she did feel pressured.
“I worked with a producer once who said, ‘You should get a boob job. You’d be a knockout,'” she explained . “Unfortunately he made good music so I couldn’t quit. It was completely out of context, this passing thought that just came out of his mouth.”
Brittany Snow.
“When I was little, there was a woman who told me I would never make it because the scar was right in the middle of my forehead,” she said .
“I think I was about 8 when the person made that comment. She told me that I needed to get plastic surgery on my face because it was distracting. My mom even took me to a plastic surgeon’s office to get it removed and I freaked out in the parking lot. I wouldn’t go in. I think instinctively my 8-year-old self knew that I needed to keep it.”
Lady Gaga.
While some have speculated that she has had rhinoplasty, Gaga maintains that she’s kept her nose au naturale .
“I was told when I was first starting out that I should get a nose job, but I didn’t because I wanted to be who I was,” she said . “I said ‘No.’ I love my Italian nose.”
Jamie Lee Curtis.
“I am appalled that the term we use to talk about aging is ‘anti’,” she explained. “Aging is as natural as a baby’s softness and scent. Aging is human evolution in its pure form. Death, taxes and aging.”
Debra Messing.
Debra revealed that the director of A Walk in the Cloud pressured her to get rhinoplasty because her nose was “ruining” his movie.
Despite being “reduced to an un-Hollywood nose”, she refused to have the surgery.
Stevie Nicks.
Stevie has made her stance on cosmetic enhancements perfectly clear after trying it the first time.
“Botox makes everybody look like Satan’s children,” she said . “You’d have to tie me down to get me to do it again.”
Sophia Loren.
They were saying that my nose was too long and my mouth was too big,” she said , referring to people in the industry.
“Even Carlo said, ‘You know the cameramen, they say that your nose is too long. Maybe you have to touch it a little bit.’ And I said, ‘Listen, I don’t want to touch nothing on my face because I like my face. At that time, they used to do noses like a French nose with a little tip at the end—they liked that. Can you imagine me with a nose like that?”
Elizabeth Banks.
Elizabeth was told by her first ever acting agent that she needed a boob job. But in hindsight, she’s glad she couldn’t afford one at the time.
“The first agent I ever met in this industry told me to get a boob job,” she said . “I was so grateful that I didn’t have enough money at the time to follow his advice. I also did not sign with him despite that.”
Lauren Hutton.
Lauren has always advocated for embracing natural beauty.
“Our wrinkles are our medals of the passage of life,” she said . “They are what we have been through and who we want to be.”
Jodi Foster.
Jodi explained that she has no desire to enhance her beauty through cosmetic surgery.
“For me, it’s really a self-image thing,” she said . “Like, I’d rather have somebody go, ‘wow that girl has a bad nose’ than ‘wow that girl has a bad nose job.'”
Julianne Moore.
Julianne has voiced that she is actually for the aging process because it’s simply apart of the journey.
“I feel that with a few exceptions, people always look like they’ve had surgery. They don’t look any younger,” she said when asked her take on plastic surgery. “I’m 51, and no matter what I do to my face, I’m still going to be 51. Age is about life span, about the journey we take,” she said .
