In order to ensure that someone is always available to take care of the kids, Ryan and Blake don’t take on movie roles at the same time.
2. They support one another in everything they do.
Ryan was all smiles for the premiere of Blake’s film All I See Is You .
He joked that since he and Blake were married online, this was his first time meeting her in person.
4. They don’t forget the little things.
I’m a firm believer that the way to anyone’s heart is through their stomach. Just ask my fiancée!
Ryan seems to agree, as he baked this beautiful cake for Blake all on his own! According to his post, the icing is glue. But I’m sure he is only kidding — right?
3. Friendship comes first.
When Ryan and Blake first met one another, they were in relationships with different people. They were close friends for two years before ever going on their first date.
Blake said that she treated Ryan as if he was one of her girlfriends.

During an appearance at the Met Gala in 2017, Ryan couldn’t help but gush over his beloved wife.
He said that no matter the situation, Blake always responds with empathy . It’s what inspired him to repair his relationship with his own father.

The night of their wedding, Blake and Ryan were treated to a private performance from Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine.
During which, a sparkler accidentally burned a hole in Blake’s wedding dress.
Blake was understandably heartbroken, but Ryan’s reaction completely turned everything around.

“Real bad, but she was a mercenary, you know I think I just caught her in the middle of a contraction.”
He admitted that beyond that, she was making jokes the entire time.

Everyone around the world is dealing with the consequences of the COVID-19 outbreak. One of the things that suffered, especially early on, was personal grooming.
Instead of letting Ryan’s appearance fall by the wayside, Blake became his private barber !
During a Zoom appearance on *The Late Show With Stephen Colbert*, Ryan explained that the first time Blake cut his hair it took nearly two hours.
When all was said and done, Ryan said he looked as if she’d taken a blow torch to his head. I guess practice makes perfect!

Ryan and Blake have a long history of making fun of one another on the internet.
During an appearance on Live with Kelly & Ryan , Reynolds stated that he believes it’s a sign of a healthy relationship.
If trolling is the standard for a healthy relationship, Ryan and Blake may just be the happiest couple on the planet.
I mean, they have to be — right? How else could Ryan get away with posting a picture like this for his millions of followers to see!?
If I were to try and pull something like this on my fiancée, she’d probably leave me on the spot.
12. Make home life as normal as possible.
Of all the things that Ryan and Blake want to give to their children, a sense of normalcy is something they pride above all else.
