Over the last few years, Megan Fox has been heavily criticized for allowing her six-year-old son to wear dresses to school, and during a recent interview on The Talk , she finally opened up and defended that parenting choice.

As adorable as they are, people have still found a reason to criticize their appearances.
In 2017, Megan shared four Polaroids on Instagram, one of which featured her son, Noah, wearing a “Frozen” themed dress.
As expected, narrow-minded spectators had a big problem with this.
Comments like this one flooded in, shaming Megan for letting her son wear a dress.
While there were many forward-thinking, modern parents leaving supportive comments for Megan and Brian, there was an equal — if not larger number of harsh criticisms.
People insinuated that by letting her son wear a dress, she was setting him up to be bullied in the future.
There were also comments left accusing Megan of having a “mental illness” for not teaching her sons to wear “boys clothes”.
Despite the overwhelming amount of bigotry being aimed at Megan, she didn’t seem to let it under her skin.
She never fired back at any of the negative comments, and continued to let Noah wear whatever he wanted to.
Almost a year later she posted this photo of her sons, Noah and Bohdi, sitting on the beach wearing pink and green neoprene suits.
And once again, people went nuts.
Some people think that Megan is actually trying to force her eldest son to be a girl.
When in reality, she’s simply letting him choose what he wants to wear, and how he wants to express himself.
Megan has managed to bite her tongue and ignore the haters.
Until now.
During a recent interview on The Talk , Megan opened up about Noah wearing dresses to school and how they’re handling the bullies.
“He designs, he draws outfits. He’s very talented, but he’s still six,” she said.
She explained that he “loves fashion” and even helps pick out outfits for her to wear .
“He’s really into fashion. Sometimes, he’ll dress himself and he likes to wear dresses sometimes,” she explained.
“I send him to a really liberal, like, hippy school,” she added .
“But even there, in California, he still has little boys going, ‘Boys don’t wear dresses,’ or ‘Boys don’t wear pink.'”
“So, we’re going through that now,” she said . “I’m trying to teach him to be confident no matter what anyone else says.”
“He had stopped wearing dresses for a while. He just wore one two days ago to school.”
“And he came home and I was like, ‘how was it? Did any of the friends at school have anything to say?'”
“He was like, ‘well, all the boys laughed when I came in.’ But he was like, ‘I don’t care. I love dresses too much.'”
Megan’s husband, Brian Austin Green, had also made comments addressing this back when Noah was four, in an interview with Hollywood Pipeline .
“I’ve heard from some people that they don’t agree with him wearing dresses. To them I say, ‘I don’t care. He’s four and if he wants to wear it then he wears it,'” he said.
“I feel like at four at five, that’s a time when he should be having fun .”
“He’s not harming anyone wearing a dress. So if he wants to wear a dress, good on him.”

Charlize revealed that her seven year old child, Jackson, identified as a girl at the age of 3 after the child was spotted wearing dresses on multiple occasions.
Charlize was vocal about how much she supported Jackson.
She said, “They were born who they are and exactly where in the world both of them get to find themselves as they grow up, and who they want to be, is not for me to decide.”
Mario Lopez recently came under fire for calling this ‘celebrity trend’ in parenting ‘dangerous.’
Speaking to Candace Owen, Mario said , “My God, if you’re 3 years old, I just think it’s dangerous as a parent to make this determination then.”
“It’s sort of alarming and my gosh, I just think about the repercussions later on.”
Mario faced immediate backlash for speaking about something he wasn’t educated on, and soon afterwards released an apology statement that said, “The comments I made were ignorant and insensitive, and I now have a deeper understanding of how hurtful they were.”
