Cole Sprouse has admitted to what it was like to work with Jennifer Aniston on the set of Friends when he was a kid.
Sprouse has been acting since childhood
Cole Sprouse, 33, and his twin brother, Dylan, have been taking roles in TV ever since they were kids.
The pair are particularly known for starring in the iconic Disney Channel show The Suite Life of Zack & Cody and its spin-off, The Suite Life on Deck.
Sprouse was also on Friends
Cole Sprouse also played the role of Ben in the iconic sitcom Friends. He was the son of Ross Geller, played by David Schwimmer.
Sprouse only appeared in a few episodes but his character made a lasting impression on fans.
The actor spoke about his time on set
Back in 2017, Sprouse opened up about what it was like to work with Jennifer Aniston, who seems to have left an impression on him as well.
He told the New York Post that he had a ‘really, really hard time’ working with her because he ‘was so in love with her.’
Sprouse couldn’t focus on his lines
“I was infatuated,” Sprouse told the outlet of his time working with the Rachel Green actor.
“I was speechless — I’d get all bubbly and forget my lines and completely blank … It was so difficult,” he added.
He enjoyed acting the role
The Riverdale star also described working on Friends as a ‘really wonderful experience’.
“The scale was just tremendous, and you felt it when you stepped on set, even as a kid,” he said.
It wasn’t easy for him
“It was challenging because I was a small kid who was working with these sort of megalithic actors at the time. It was quite intimidating,” the actor admitted.
Sprouse further shared that he hadn’t seen much of the cast since the days of filming the episodes.
He doesn’t see them often
“If I saw any of them, I’d say, ‘Hello’,” the actor went on.
“But it’s been a while, and I certainly don’t look the same, so it’d be a hard sell. And if I did look the same, that’d be a little disconcerting.”
