Jennifer always makes sure to find time for both of her children. She even invited her daughter on stage with her to perform during her tour this month.
When Jennifer began dating former Yankees player Alex Rodriguez, she made sure to include him in her children’s life.
She made sure that Max and Emme were comfortable with her then-boyfriend, Alex. After dating for a while, he proposed to her and the two are set to get married.
Alex is frequently posting photos with Jennifer’s kids on his Instagram page.
He clearly takes his role in their lives seriously, and sees himself as more than just Jennifer Lopez’s new boo—but also as Max and Emme’s other father, next to Marc Anthony.
While this can be uncomfortable for some ex-husbands, it seems that Rodriguez and Marc Anthony are getting along just fine.
Rodriguez proved that he’s a true gentleman when he posted a photo sitting in between Lopez and Marc Anthony while attending their kid’s performance at school. He sat right in the middle of the exes and showed that family can be anything you make it.
Obviously, these three are nailing it when it comes to parenting.
Jennifer also makes an effort with Alex’s children from his previous relationship and the family celebrates every accomplishment and celebration, including graduations and birthdays together.
On Father’s Day, Lopez proved that she appreciates both of the men in her children’s life.
While Alex may be the number one man in her life right now, Jennifer made sure that she showed her love for both A-Rod and Marc Anthony on Father’s Day.
Lopez posted a lovely video of Marc Anthony with their son, along with some photos with their children.
She captioned the post: “Happy Fathers Day to you Flaco!!! Emme and Max love you soooo much!! Thank you for these two beautiful coconuts!!! Feliz Día Del Padre!!!”
Rodriguez even posted a nice comment for Marc Anthony on Lopez’s post.
Instead of being jealous, Alex commented on the post wishing Marc a very happy father’s day, like a true gentleman and an adult who understands the power of positivity in co-parenting.
Lopez also wished A-Rod a happy father’s day in a mushy, lovely post.
The video showed Rodriguez with both Max and Emme and said: “How lucky are we to have you in our lives…not only do you make us all laugh everyday, you help us to be our best selves with a loving gentle hand. Being there and caring with a consistent presence that doesn’t ever waiver.”
She also praised his parenting skills with his two daughters, Tashi and Ella.
“Macho… I cannot begin to tell you how much you have come to mean to me and Max and Emme!! Seeing the father you are to Tashi and Ella is one of my greatest joys and they are so fortunate to have you to call Daddy!!! We all love you so much!! Happy Fathers Day!!!”
It takes a village to raise kids.
Seeing all three of these parents get together and make it work is truly an inspiration for all parents who go through a divorce and start a life with someone new.
It doesn’t always have to be complicated.
