Chris Brown had a rather “interesting” reaction to his Grammy loss, and he made his displeasure known in the rudest and meanest way possible in a series of now-deleted Instagram slides and stories. However, he has since apologized for his reaction by sending a message to Robert Glasper on Instagram.

The 33-year-old rapper and artist was nominated alongside Mary J. Blige, Robert Glasper, Lucky Daye and PJ Morton in the Best R&B album category. His album Breezy (Deluxe) earned him a nomination, and by all predictions, he was the guy for it until the winner was announced, and it wasn’t Brown!
Robert Glasper Snatched The Award

The night’s win went to Jazz artist, Glasper, and this decision didn’t sit well with Brown , who then went on a mini rant on his Instagram page and mocked Glasper with “Who the f**k is Robert Glasper?” and then followed up with “Ima keep kicking y’all ass! Respectfully.”
Brown Posted Two More Stories In Response To Glasper’s Win

He concluded his episode by following up with two more stories as he photoshopped an image of himself playing the harmonica and wrote, “New Level Unlocked! Harmonica Breezy.”
The Under The Influence singer also added, “I gotta get my skills up, Ima start playing the harmonica.”
‘Breezy ‘ Album

Breezy is Brown’s tenth studio album which is also his nickname. It was released on June 24, 2022, as the follow-up to his 2019 album, Indigo. He released the deluxe version a week after Breezy dropped, and nine more songs were added.
It featured appearances from Anderson Paak, Davido, Lil Baby, Lil Wayne, Jack Harlow and other artists.

Days before the award, Glasper expressed his joy at being part of the event.
The Jazz artist is definitely not a newcomer in the game, as he has previously won four Grammy awards and bagged nine nominations throughout his career. He also collaborated with well-known artists like Kendrick Lamar, Lupe Fiasco, and Mac Miller.
Chris Brown Apologized For His Reaction
The Loyal rapper has now taken a 360 degrees turn following heavy backlash from fans and critics about his reaction. He posted a screenshot of his message in Glasper’s inbox on Instagram, where he apologized for his harsh reaction.
‘No Due Diligence’

The singer accused the Grammy board of not doing black artists their “due diligence” as he cited that he and Glasper should “never be in the same category” because they sing “two totally different vibes and genres.”

He concluded the message by congratulating Glasper again and added, “Hope you are able to feed your family for life. God bless my G.”
