Ahead of her 66th birthday in March, Stone shared a message for anyone struggling to embrace aging.
“I think that people who are embarrassed about being older are just stupid and ungrateful,” she told The Times, per E! Online.
Back in 2022, speaking with Vogue Arabia, the actress recalled dating a younger man who urged her to try cosmetic injectables.
She told her then-boyfriend, “It would probably be really good for your ego and mine if I did.”
She explained that it was not worth the trouble if she was expected to look younger to be in the relationship. “I saw him one more time after that and then he wasn’t interested in seeing me anymore,” she shared.
“If you don’t see me for more than that, you’ll please find your way to the exit,” she quipped.
She confessed that once in the past she had dabbled in Botox, but only under extreme and unforeseen circumstances following a significant health scare.
“I had this massive stroke and a nine-day brain hemorrhage,” she revealed.
The actress explained that due to the nerve damage caused by the stroke, she experienced a facial droop on half of her face. To regain symmetry, she had to get a significant amount of Botox and cosmetic filler.
“I had to have over 300 shots of Botox and filler to make the one side of my face come up again,” Stone recounted.
Nowadays, Stone is focused on aging naturally and proudly. Earlier this month, she took to Instagram to share a snap of herself in a matching red lingerie set, recreating an iconic scene from her 1992 film, Basic Instinct.
Sitting confidently in a fur-lined chair, Stone looked every bit as stunning as she did in 1992, and fans agree!
